Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked I recently spent two nights at this small countryside campsite, and it turned out to be a wonderfully relaxing break. The facilities were very basic — just two portaloos and a water point — but the simplicity actually added to the charm. The views were stunning from every angle, and being surrounded by a working farm made the stay feel authentic and peaceful.
The farmer was incredibly friendly and even offered my wife and me fresh drinking water, as there isn’t normally any available on-site. That small gesture made a big difference and really highlighted the welcoming atmosphere.
Despite the poor weather, we loved being out in nature, enjoying the animals and the quiet surroundings. It was a cheap, calming getaway, and we’d happily return for another stay.
