Liked Everything, lovely secluded site. No showers. They do have toilets and a lovely field for camping.
Disliked It was a little difficult to find.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked A lovely site. A couple of minutes walk to the beach area. It wasn’t really much of a beach, but there is a nice one very close.
We didn’t see all the amenities as we were travelling around.
The shower rooms were lovely and warm, the showers nice and hot, just the right temperature.
A local fish and chip shop not far away, get there early because it gets busy. Cash only. The fish and chips were lovely, the peas had black pepper in them, they were lovely too. There’s a shop near the chippy.
Disliked The beach area had areas of quicksand so we felt a little nervous on there.

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Almost everything. The lemon drizzle cake is the best. I eat too much of this when I’m there. The walks are amazing!
Saw red squirrels and hedgehogs.
Disliked The ladies showers room was cold and the water wasn’t very hot.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The views are amazing! Basic campsite. Dog walking field. Clean toilets and showers. Grass fields. Quiet and very relaxing. Cheap site. Dark skies amazing on a clear night. Spacious, not over crowded. Excellent spot to use as a base to explore Cornwall. We planned on staying 4 nights, ended up staying a further 2 nights.
Definitely visiting again.
Disliked Nothing to dislike.

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch (lake view)
Liked The setting is beautiful, relaxing. By the fishing lake. Really nice place
Disliked No WiFi even thought it is advertised.
No washing up facilities.
Showers and toilets were clean and tidy.
We could hear loud music at almost midnight. Even though cut off point was 9pm.
We stayed 3 nights Thursday to Sunday, we went out in our converted van through the day.
Came back on Saturday evening to find someone else on our pitch. We went to the reception this was closed for the night (closes at 4pm). I emailed to complain as there were no contact numbers.
Policy said that complaints wouldn’t be upheld unless persons went to reception during their stay. The day after we were due to leave. We had to be off site by 10am so we went to reception on our way out, again this was closed. I haven’t received a reply to our email.
