Long-eared geodesic dome
Liked We had an absolutely fantastic stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. The location is beautiful, tucked away in a peaceful wooded area where you can really switch off and enjoy nature. It was so quiet and relaxing, yet there was plenty for the children to enjoy.
Chris was an exceptional host. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he was always happy to help with anything we needed. He was so warm and friendly that our children would get excited every time they heard him coming past on his quad bike and would run over to say hello. It really added a personal touch to the whole experience.
The facilities were exactly what we were hoping for. This isn’t a five-star hotel, and that’s exactly the charm of the place. It’s a true glamping experience with a lovely back-to-nature feel, while still having everything you need for a comfortable stay. We left feeling relaxed and already talking about coming back.
Disliked The only downside was the horseflies, but Chris explained that they are only around for a few weeks each year, so it’s very much a seasonal issue rather than something that would put us off returning.
