Liked The site is set down, which gives it protection from the wind. We enjoyed the outdoor pool on a breezy day as it’s cleverly sheltered. It was a great vibe with pool music occasionally, plastic cups provided free if needed (for a pool side beer) and the life guards were excellent, anything dangerous stopped immendiately but also not kill joys on fun stuff with rubber rings and beach balls. I saw alot of people having alot of fun. This is a big site, however pitches are a good size and each pitch has small hedges to give a sense of privacy. As you would expect with a site of this size there’s lots of activities to do. We stayed last week aug and enjoyed the late evening entertainment which wasnt too busy, however can’t comment on the early evening. The terrace, pool setting looks great in the evening. There’s even a pub as another alternative to the evening entertainment hall. Arcades were fun too. Pizzas were nice and ok priced. Our pitch was also close to two toilet blocks/washing up points, and drinking water / bins also within easy reach. Everything was also cleaned regulary. I was either lucky with my pitch or this whole site has been very well designed. I only stayed 3 days but could have easily have stayed longer.

Disliked For the price i paid per night, i think the indoor swimming pool should be free. However due to the weather we used the outdoor pool free. Also electric should be included for the price but i appreciate they are moving to an app installation and to be honest the cost actually made no difference. Though may add up in a large motorhome on a longer stay. Would have like too have done the tractor ride if staying longer but this was well booked up. May be if booking early for peak seaon, also book activities at the same time so u don’t miss out. Wifi you pay for and couldn’t seem to log on to free wifi in the complex.

Liked Hardstanding level pitch. Electric and water on pitch. Great fishing and cafe. Also has a small shop. Showers ok. Would definitely return for another fishing weekend. Great relaxed vibe, would definitely take kids to learn to fish.

Disliked A little road noise but didn’t bother us. One of the lakes is quite noisy with road traffic but we avoided this lake, the others were fine.

Liked Reception staff were fantastic, as were all the activity staff i spoke too. Very informative and helpful. Activities all looked brilliant, we did the inflatable aqua park. I have been on better and worse but this one caters for all ages which i think is a great families. The football golf was also fun and takes you through a nice woodland area, it definitely got the thumbs up from a footy mad 12 yr old. Pitches are a good size too. Shower and toilet block are also good. Again stayed where they are better and worse. Looking forward to seeing you again this summer to try out wake boarding for the first time!

Disliked Wish i’d found this site years ago! A future dislike, in 5yrs universal studios will be just down the road, so good luck getting in this site. May be offer loyalty points and hold some pitches back for old time customers on last min bookings. Paying for wifi but alot of sites do this now, it’s just always a bonus when it free.

Liked Location is great, everthing in walking distance. Check in was easy, advised pitch number and toilet block code en-route as was a last min booking and pitch up imediately on arrival.

Disliked The site isn’t secure, this didn’t bother me but may some people. A little pricey as very basic site.

Liked Really nice peaceful site. EHU, water and grey waste per pitch. A small play area and football goal to entertain the kids. As our pitch wasn’t booked the day if departure, there was no pressure to leave the site at 10am, so it felt like we had an extra day. Would definitely stay again.
