Liked The Old Chapel in Murton is a wonderfully peaceful campsite with a friendly, down-to-earth feel. Ted, who runs the place, couldn’t have been more welcoming — he made the whole stay feel relaxed and personal. The site itself is simple but in the best way: spacious non-electric pitches with room to breathe, clean facilities, and a setting that lets the views do all the talking. Rolling fells, open skies, and a sense of quiet that’s hard to find on a busy bank holiday.
