Liked We liked the peaceful atmosphere, friendly welcome and spacious pitches. It's far enough away from the road that it feels secluded, and close enough to shops (by car) that you can pop out easily to get what you need. Management is super friendly and clearly care about their guests. We were back for another year's stay - the children seem to have decided this is 'their' camping spot and insisted! Whilst we weren't fortunate with the weather (torrential rain over the bank holiday), the slope of the pitches ensured that we didn't get too wet. The children loved playing in the woods and making dens, and there was plenty of room for everyone on site. Bathrooms were kept clean and tidy despite the wet weather.

Liked The incredibly friendly owners - they had a chat with all the campers as they did the log run each night, it really made the stay. Huge expanse of woodland for the children to explore and play in. Kids are able to play and explore and be kids. You are off the beaten track and felt very safe. Tents not too close together, plenty of room for children to play ball games etc. We didn't have to wait for a shower, the facilities are well matched to the number of pitches/campers. We saw owls and deer during our stay here, and heard all sorts of other wildlife. The pub in the woods on the Saturday night was glorious.

Disliked Nothing at all. We will be back!
