Fully-serviced grass and earth pitch (XXL, comfort)
Liked Location and lots to do.
Disliked Facilities need updating and cleaning more often.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Location is lovely. Park and the people are very friendly.
Disliked This is mainly a residential site: only 2 touring pitches and at least 60 residents.
Facilities need an update: mostly clean but limited and basic: these do not reflect the price.
Our pitch was next to a busy and noisy road and opposite a very busy football and rugby club.
Also, don’t bother using the email address as they never reply but did respond to a phone call.
Would only stay if could have the other available pitch.

Fully-serviced grass and gravel pitch
Liked Location as it was close to family but that’s all. Facilities were good.
Disliked There are only 2 toilets and 2 showers (together like en suite): this is not enough for a site that could have over 20 adults. Plus people in the pods if they choose to use the facilities too.
Also, something that should be advertised is that the site is directly on the flight path for East Midlands Airport: flights all day and into the early hours and then again from 5am…no sleep to be had at all!
Someone was driving onto the site at 4am: maybe to feed the horses or sort out the llamas.

Electric optional gravel pitch (large)
Liked Everything really: it's a lovely place for a rest and relaxation. Staff are very friendly, informative and helpful.
Disliked Not necessarily a dislike but a couple of suggestions: you could provide a shuttle to the nearest bus stop as it's quite a way away and not pleasant if it's raining. Plus even though the showers and facilities are lovely you just need to ensure that they are cleaned more often and vents should be put in the showers as there is no air at all when trying to dry off. I did say this to the reception staff and they understood.
We did also suggest that the rooftop bbq be a regular weekend event to bring people together: it's a great facility with fabulous views so why not make the most of it.

VIP Exclusive electric grass and sand pitch
Liked The s size of the pitch (Exclusive with gazebo)
The washing machine cleaned well.
The sunshine.
Disliked The whole place...
The location is poor: we are led to believe that Plitvice National Park is nearby yet it is 5 miles away and the bus does not allow dogs so it means a taxi at £40.
One bus didn't even stop.
There are no walks nearby either as we were led to believe. Cycling isn't easy on a main road.
The swimming pool is ok when it's quiet but none of the rules are followed: adults and children jumping in and footballs being thrown around. The water left a residue on our skin. Also, the front glass panel by the bar is shattered and displays a small sign saying please don't touch - that's an accident waiting to happen.
The reception staff were rude, arrogant and very uncaring to our situation. They gave us false information and didn't off to help. Ruined my partners birthday trip.
Gardeners strimming and leaf blowing until after 8pm - not tranquil at all.
There were workmen on the roof of the ladies toilet/shower block.
The ladies showers were lovely to look at but they were flooded every time I tried to take a shower, the floors were filthy and it was a hazard to walk in there. This was reported to the reception.
The site talks of a lake: a lake that is about 20m round - this is not a lake, more of a pond.
Couldn't take public transport to Rastoke because we have a dog and a taxi would have been 90 Euros.
People don't heed personal pitches and walked through many times rather than walk around.
Access to pitches is poor in a motorhome over 8m. The lose pea gravel causes the wheels to lose grip.
Grey waste water has to flow up to drain away.
Chemical WC and drainage off site! No sanitiser at this point either.
Also led to believe that the sauna and wellness are part of the deal yet I was quoted 160 Euros to use it.
Overall, it was one of the worst places that we have stayed at. Would not recommend for more than one night.

From the manager: Hello Mrs Gail, thank you for your feedback about your stay and for taking the time to share your comments. We must point out that your review is absolutely unfounded in every respect. You stayed with us for a full week – if everything was truly as you describe, you certainly would not have remained that long. As clearly stated on the website, our resort is located 8 km from Plitvice National Park. For our guests we provide a shuttle bus; however, the bus company does not allow pets – this is their policy, not ours, and no one at reception gave you false information or behaved rudely towards you at any point. There are walking paths and cycling routes in the nearby area – not only along the main road – and our staff is available 24/7 to assist guests with such information. At no point during your week-long stay did you inform reception about any issues with the pool water, nor have we ever received such complaints from other guests. If an area is clearly marked and fenced off by the pool with a visible sign stating “do not touch,” then no guest has access to it, so we cannot understand the objection. The resort map and house rules were provided to you, and as in any resort, daily maintenance work is perfectly normal. While it is possible that the sanitary facilities may occasionally be slippery, our team cleans them regularly and promptly – to suggest they were constantly flooded or filthy is simply untrue. Our artificial lake is part of the resort’s concept and not a fish pond; had you reviewed our facilities before arrival, you would have known exactly what we offer, including that wellness services are not included in the basic price. It is clear that most of your disappointment comes from not reviewing the location, services, and amenities in advance. We encourage you in future travels to carefully check what a destination offers before booking. We are sorry that you felt this way but we stand by the quality and accuracy of our services and information. Respectfully Plitvice Holiday Resort

Blue electric gravel and earth pitch
Liked Location was lovely with access directly to the beach via secure gates, reception staff were very helpful.
Night security were good.
Dog friendly site which provides free poop bags.
Disliked The shop on site is mega expensive, the restaurant wouldn’t let us reserve a table for two even though the site was very busy.
We were told if we wanted a breakfast we had to book for the whole stay at €16 per day per adult.
The electricity seems to fluctuate and wasn’t 16 amp as stated: ours and other motorhomes/ caravans around us kept tripping.
There’s a funfair right next to the site so lots of noise.
Also, too many e-scooters and bikes ridden at speed by children and adults on site- so many near misses, there’s definitely an accident waiting to happen.
Adults only pool is a joke: it’s about 4m long and 2m wide…hardly a pool and no swimming to be done. Fitness room has very little equipment.

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Location was good, nice area to explore. The site manager is very laid back but very helpful. Entertainment was good fun.
Level pitch and plenty of room.
Disliked Paying for showers…and washing machines are very old. Lady in the bar wouldn’t give any change and sometimes the site manager wasn’t available because he was recovering from the night before.
It is a turn up and find your own pitch place which is sometimes difficult with a bigger motorhome as stated on booking forms.
