Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Very friendly and accommodating.
Made me a coffee when didn't need to, but was very much needed after a long day hiking.
Stayed available to assist much later than most places which saved my bacon so to speak.
Stayed here twice in about two weeks although I'm not sure the owner recognised me lol.
Disliked Toilets would be nice but I wouldn't knock the site for that at all, it would just make it from a great stop to an amazing stop.

Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Seemed to be some nice walks in the area.
Disliked Unclear where you're meant to check in (no signs at all).
Staff seemingly disappear into the void after check in so good luck if you need any help.
Older man sat on his own in an unoccupied shaded spot preventing us from parking in it, site owner didn't care.
Same person stared at us the whole time we were there making us feel uncomfortable.

From the manager: Having run my site successfully for 35 years I am completely at a loss over this review. I am sorry you felt you needed to do this but I feel I need to respond to each of your points in the following way: 1. Staff seemingly disappear into the void after check in so good luck if you need any help – this is incorrect as I was at home in earshot of both the bell and my phone in the very short time that you stayed (less than an hour). No bell heard and no call / missed call on either my phone or my husband's phone. 2. Older man sat on his own in an unoccupied shaded spot preventing us from parking in it - this is incorrect, the gentleman was sitting on a pitch shadier than his own but not the pitch allocated to you. 3. Site owner didn't care – This is also incorrect. Every customer is either welcomed personally or receives a phone call / text if I am likely to be unavailable on arrival (I'm a small site and I have a part time job elsewhere). You were handed a welcome pack of leaflets containing site information (and mobile numbers for both myself and husband) and I verbally pointed out the site amenities. Upon realising you had two dogs with you, which had not been included at the time of booking, as the temperature had already exceeded 35 degrees, I changed the pitch allocated to you and directed you to a shadier one suggesting that you park your motorhome the opposite way round to ensure you received maximum shade that was available. 4. Same person stared at us the whole time we were there making us feel uncomfortable. – I can’t refute this but I had seen the gentleman only minutes before you arrived and believed him to be asleep.

Owners very friendly and helpful.
Disliked Only one toilet.
Lack of signs when arriving made it difficult to know where to go.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked The pitch size was excellent.
The 12:00 leave by time was nice, could take our time and relax a little in the morning.
Disliked The toilet and washing facilities left a lot to be desired. There weren't enough of them, they were very unclean and had ran out of toilet paper and still hadn't been replenished they next day.
No shops due to location.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Iam sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy your stay. Iam unsure where the toilet paper went as these are checked daily. Maybe we had a toilet paper thief on site. The facilities are basic as stated when booking. Unfortunately we can’t meet everyone’s expectations.
