Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Although we booked and paid for a pitch in February when we arrived they only had two very unsuitable pitches available. From what we saw it is a very cramped site and more suited to campers and people using statics/bungalows.
Disliked Just about everything including the attitude of the site supervisor, who although on the surface apologetic, couldn’t explain why we hadn’t got a reserved pitch.
When we asked for a refund he waved his hands and told us to write and email to his boss.

From the manager: Hi, thank you for your notice. Unfortunately, we cannot confirm your declarations. In fact, we had space for you and even offered the pond pitches because you didn't like the other ones. We apologize for the poor weather conditions. However, please understand that these are beyond our control. We are a site for both permanent and short-term campers, with separate areas for each. Every day, we put great dedication into meeting the needs of both. It's normal that we are a bit more crowded over the holidays but we always try to make sure that everyone is happy and has enough space around their camper. Therefore, we do not see the reason for your early departure as being within our area of responsibility and kindly ask you to remove your review, as it is clearly not objective and does not reflect the facts.
