Liked Beautiful view of the bay. Farm shop produce is beautiful. Big pitches Large family showers Owner very friendly

Liked Nice site and good sized pitches. We asked to be sited next to our parents back in December when booking, we were pitched opposite but when I asked if there was any chance to change I was informed there wasn’t due to pitches next door being requested. The pitch next to both of us was set up the same day and broke down a day earlier, I think this could have been moved around. Facilities are lovely. Bar, shop, showers and caravan shop on site brilliant.

Disliked I think there should be more shower/toilet blocks for the size of the site it’s a fair walk in the night for a wee so doesn’t feel 5* and when we ran out of gas and called reception on a Sunday they advised me to try town or wait till they opened on Monday, only to find out from another camper that the caravan shop on site was open and he sorted me his last bottle, life saver!

Disliked 2pm check in is too late, lost a day setting up. Coin operated showers. Now, I have no issue with a 50p shower, wasn’t a massive issue but the fact that the water temperature is set to 42 degrees is ridiculous. Height of summer, all burnt and couldn’t use the shower facilities. The children had to have stand up sink washes as they wouldn’t go under the water it was far too hot. This should be changed, put us off returning. ‘Wardens’ were never seen. Neighbour had loud tv playing till 2am daily and encroached on our pitch massively but as we were neighbouring with our family members we had enough space sideways. No squeegee for the floor in the showers so stood in muck and grass wasn’t brilliant. Simple fix for site!
