A great small site

Liked Peaceful and amazing facilities, clean warm and additional kitchen equipment. Lovely walk nearby along the railway line towards Middleton in Teesdale
Disliked Slight slope was no real problem even without ramps!

Would definitely visit again but in a less busy time
Jul 2026 Liked Great views, nice site, fantastic friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked I left a day early because some other campsite users had loose dogs that were wandering. I have a reactive rescue dog that is stressed by the approach of other dogs, so it was simpler to leave.

Perfect campsite for basic almost wild camping.
Sept 2023 Liked Peaceful camping field with great views, lots of wildlfe (owls in the woods) and clean facilities. Loved the composting loo! Host was very friendly. I would definitely stay there again!
