From the manager: Dear Trevor, We are sorry to read that our campsite did not meet your expectations. At the same time, we are genuinely hurt by the statements made in this review, as we believe they do not reflect reality. We clearly advertise ourselves as a simple campsite with basic facilities. We have never claimed to be a luxury resort or a five-star holiday park. Considering the price of €25 per night, we believe guests can reasonably expect a simple camping experience rather than extensive luxury amenities. What we find particularly disappointing is the claim that reality is "vastly different from the photos." This is simply not true. Our photos are genuine, up to date, and accurately represent the campsite, the pitches, and the facilities we offer. Disliking a campsite is one thing, but suggesting that the photos are misleading is unfair and unnecessarily damaging. We fully respect that our campsite may not suit everyone's preferences. However, we feel it is important to point out that guests can review both our photos and our detailed description before making a reservation. Being a simple campsite is not a reason to portray us as dishonest or misleading. We regret that our campsite was not the right match for your expectations, but we stand by the accuracy of our description and photographs. Kind regards, The Campsite Team
