Electric hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked We came here last year too. Access to Lake Bala is brilliant for paddle boarding, kayaking or rowing. Lovely clean site.
Disliked Only thing we had happen is that pitchup took our money for a boat and extra vehicle. But when we got there they had no note of extra items and asked us for payment again. I had to find out my original email from pitchbup confirming booking. Very naughty of you pitch Up.

Electric optional hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Lovely flat pitch with electric hookup. Quiet site. Only checked in at 6pm for a one night stop over on way to Dunkirk. Managed to book in online night before. Showers and toilets were clean with hot water. Lady in Bistro very friendly and helpful. She was only staff member there serving and waiting tables price of evening meal very reasonable.
Disliked Husband very sullen. Checked us in wasn't given any site rules or map etc. Couldnt find where grey water drain was tried looking online and had to use google translator as no English option on website unless you went to booking page which gave you just a form. Outdoir pool not ooen. We were there 2nd June. On leaving watched another motorhome empty grey water by a drain near reception. So we followed. Only to have lady owner come out saying sorry no facility to drop grey water or fill up.... the site has touring caravans and motorhomes on site. How can they stay for more than 1 day??????

Non-electric hardstanding and grass pitch (value)
Liked Setting in Cannock Chase Forest.
Disliked Members of public coming through site all day long. Groups of cyclists. Noisy groups lingering around water points from 8am onwards. Members of public allowing their dogs to roam freely around peoples motorhome pitches setting off our own dogs who were on leads following "site rules". Not peaceful at all. Was right on the through path where everyone is allowed to walk through freely. Angry i was charged £46 to put up with this for 2 days.
