Liked Nothing.

Disliked AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Do not waste your money or time! The spaces are inadequate and do not match the description. The areas given are not suitable to sit outside of your van as it is a gravel road with banks either side. The man who greated us was very rude and unhelpful when expressing that the area is substandard. This lead us to leaving and not spending the night. I tried reclaiming the funds spent to stay the night as the service was not provided, they have claimed that due to us not expressing my issues with them directly (I did tell the man who met us so this is incorrect) they are unable to provide a refund. They should not be providing this service as the site is not set up for it.

From the manager: Hello, You booked and were assigned a reserve pitch. It matches the description. If you were expecting a different pitch, I’m sorry… but you can’t book the cheapest category with us (6 euros per pitch!) and then expect a full-fledged camping site! My colleague asked you to come to the front desk. Unfortunately, you didn’t do that. You drove on without providing any information. We didn’t realize you were gone until 4 hours after your departure, when you canceled via email! If you had come to the front desk, we would have: 1. tried to give you a higher-quality spot that you would have liked 2. if you still hadn’t liked it, offered a free cancellation and refunded your money in full. You neither communicated with us nor informed us. As a result, we were unable to re-rent the pitch – which is why we refused to refund the amount! We cannot understand why you simply left, then demanded your money back, and ultimately left such a review. If you had communicated with us, we would certainly have found a solution. And last but not least, you claimed to Pitchup that we were overbooked and therefore couldn’t provide you with a spot. That was simply a false accusation, one for which we had to defend ourselves. You didn’t enjoy your stay with us—that can happen—but please let us know openly and honestly, rather than making false claims afterward. We’re truly accommodating, but this kind of behavior leaves us with no options. Best regards Michael Blenk

Liked The site was very clean. The wieners were extremely welcoming and helpful. The facilities were great. Location is central to most sites of interest with a near by village. Very peaceful site!
