Liked Straight forward campsite with the essentials that you need (shower, toilet, washing up area). Jim who runs the site is a real gent. Regularly on site to check that everything is ok, toilets and showers are clean and stocked up, and generally there to help those staying on site. With the recent dry weather, Jim made the decision to ban firepits and BBQ's which is the right thing to do - last thing you need is a fire in a couple of fields full of campers.

Liked Brilliant site and easy access to the lovely village of Stow-on-the-Wold. Toilet and shower blocks are very clean and well maintained. The best thing about the site is Vicky - she is lovely! Every evening, she tours the site and talks to every pitch to make sure they are OK and is happy to assist with any problems. Highly recommended.

Liked David at Cresslands runs a beautiful site. He has limited it to 12 hard standing pitches that are all fed with water and electricity. Each pitch also has it's own direct drainage. The shower block is the best we've seen on a campsite. Two large shower rooms with plenty of pegs to hang your stuff on. Two equally large toilet cubicles with toilet roll, hygienic wipes, and nappy bags. In the block are two large sinks with hot/cold running water and a shaver point. All of this is kept impeccably clean. Next to the shower block is the washing up block with two sinks - again with running hot/cold water. A washing machine is available for hire and there is even a sofa to sit on whilst watching your smalls go around. Other nice touches are plenty of picnic tables and benches around the site to sit on. A brick built BBQ is available to use, as is a fire pit surrounded by logs and stumps to sit on. The site is also secured by barriers that need a code to get in/out. There is also a hide to sit in and watch the kingfishers. Looking forward to returning.

Liked Straight forward campsite. Basic facilities, but that does not detract from the site. Beautiful location with plenty of walks around the South Downs. Onsite cafe was open when we stayed. Highly recommended.

Liked Great site that has what you need. Plenty of space on the pitches so you don't feel like you are on top of other guests. Multiple toilet blocks and washing up stations which means you're not too far away from one. Shower block has plenty of space. Onsite shop has the basics and there is an outside cafe that sells pizza, burgers, chips etc. Tasty food and good prices.

Disliked Pity the shower cubicles don't have a small shelf for your wash bag
