Non-electric grass pitch
Liked I booked Burn House campsite as a last minute booking on a sunny day for a midweek night away in a roof top tent.
Straight away after booking, I received detailed instructions as well as videos and photos on how to get to the site along with pictures of the pitch which was super helpful.
On arrival, the large camping field was immaculate, well looked after and empty, which meant that I had the place to myself for the evening. The site has brilliant views of the surrounding fells and feels like a true wild camp. The one thing I was surprised at, was having full signal on O2 network which meant I could still chat to family and even stream videos.
I set up camp, had a short walk and chatted to the friendly farmer (owner of the site) before heading back to have a great nights sleep.
The site owner mentioned that I didn’t have to rush to get off the pitch the next morning which meant that I could get a few hours of fell walking done before heading home.
I will definitely be heading back to Burn house campsite over the next few months.
Thanks guys 🙌🏻
