Liked Large, level pitch, excellent sanitary facilities, the bar and restaurant served good quality food and drink at a reasonable price. Fabulous location for Le Shuttle too.

Liked The owner was very kind as we arrived at midnight due to Eurotunnel delays, but they still accommodated us on the site. Facilities were great, and the camp shop was fantastic.

Liked Spacious pitch with some shade. Despite other reviews I’ve seen complaining about them, we found the sanitary facilities to be very clean and were available in multiple locations throughout the site meaning no matter where you pitch, there’s always one relatively close by. Luckily for us given the temperature, the swimming pool opened whilst we were staying and we had a lovely swim, and sunbathe on the grass nearby. The little shop has a good selection of both camping related and grocery items. Fabulous location being a 15 minute walk to the beautiful village of Alquezar, and some great mtn biking straight from the site. We would definitely return here!

Liked Lovely shaded pitches, very spacious. Was able to order fresh bread and pastries from reception for collection the next morning which were delicious and baked fresh on site! Sanitary facilities and washing up facilities were excellent, very clean. The owner was very kind helping me with my limited French, and also provided us with some great information on cycle routes in the area, which we used more than once. We would definitely come back here - we loved this site!

Liked The site is on a hill which means it’s much cooler than down in the valley, which was a godsend for us. It’s just a 10 minute drive down to Les Eyzies. The pitches are all well shaded with trees which was also welcome, however you do need to watch the mosquitoes! The toilets and showers were ok, but the facilities were a little dated, this didn’t bother us however. There’s also a lovely swimming pool which again was very welcome given the heat.

Disliked No toilet roll is provided. We couldn’t use our electric hookup as the connection is one we’ve never seen before, not the standard European connector.

Liked Very peaceful, beautiful site. Pitch was large with plenty of room for our awning. The shower, toilets and washing up facilities are perfect, the shower is always hot and free, and it’s so nice not to have to mess about with tokens or coins! The hosts are lovely and very helpful when recommending walks in the area, and there’s also farm produce available to buy on site. The location is great, easy access to the downs and also to the beautiful Brockhampton estate which is well worth a walk! We would definitely come back here again, which says it all really!
