Electric optional gravel touring pitch
Liked Lovely little location with easy access from the M5 (and far enough to not hear any of the associated traffic). Pitches are a really decent size and flat. Owner seemed very chilled too! There is a cafe next door which serves food and drinks, which has been done out beautifully, recommend to those who visit. Plenty of local walks! Canal is an hour twenty walk away for those who want to go on an adventure
Disliked Nothing. Other reviews have moaned about a farm smell. We only got this slightly when it was windy and by no means ruined our trip and it should certainly not stop others because its a great campsite!!!!

Electric grass campervan pitch
Liked The site has really spacious pitches, lots of planting with nature and wildlife round every corner. Ingrid and Dave were extremely welcoming hosts. You are located adjacent to a mere which offers very pleasant walks. You are also very close to the canal, which leads into Ellesmere in around a 45 minute walk which was great. The site has a hot tub which is a great addition unfortunately we didnt get chance to use (maybe next time). Facilities were really clean and tidy and the campsite as a whole was really well kept. We were fortunate to get a couple of really clear nights, that coupled with no light pollution meant a vast amount of stars were visible, which was just another great element to the site. It was just what we were looking for. The site was so good, we decided to stay for an extra night!
Disliked nothing will be back!

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked We were greeted with a warm welcome from one of the staff who handed us the site access code and general camp site etiquette and information, which was really useful.
As we were non-electric we were able to set up wherever we wanted, so we went straight towards the cliff edge. This campsite offers breath-taking views out to sea and we were lucky enough to have some great weather for September, only a couple short-lived thundery showers.
The campsite was very clean and clearly well-kept.
I loved hearing the odd chicken on the farm on the opposite side of the road and a wake up call from a boisterous sounding cockerel! All in all, a fantastic campsite and exceeded all of our expectations
Facilities were clean, tidy and well looked after
There is an informal hill route down to the beach which, with some sharp eyework, you will likely find some fossils!!
Please take negative reviews with a pinch of salt. This camp site is a gem of a find and couldn't recommend it enough to whoever is considering visiting!!
Disliked I think there may need to be more toilets and shower facilities, especially when busy. But this shouldn't be taken as a deterrent to visit the campsite as its still great!

Liked Great Communication from owner on the day of arrival. All pitches were hard standing, level and clearly well maintained by the owner. Brilliant views surrounding the campsite and a short drive to nearby towns.

Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked This is a fantastic campsite with great views and scenery. We were welcomed by the owner who told us a little about the campsite and how to get to the event we were going later that evening. There is a larger barn on the campsite that has clean showers and toilets and an area for cooking/cleaning, as well as an area to chill and relax should you choose (which I imagine is great addition in the summer!). There are some gravelled pitches which we managed to park on, but mostly grass (we did not expect any gravel pitches so that was a nice addition). Overall the rural location, quietness, and breath taking views were exactly what we were after!
There is plenty of room to park up/pitch your tent and the owner spaces you around the campsite so not many others were around where we were, which was quite nice! The owner also did checks around the campsite too, which was comforting too
Disliked For us, there wasn't anything to dislike, this campsite really suited what we were after. We were unfortunate to have a wet weekend but this did not dampen our experience and we would 100% stay at this campsite again when we next visit Wales.

Electric grass and gravel campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked Friendly staff.
Very Peaceful location.
Toilet block was a nice rustic feature. Facilities were spotless
Easy to find
Will definitely be returning
Overall a fantastic weekend
As a side note, there is no play space for children (which we are not that bothered about but a family may care)
Disliked Our only criticism would be that the hardcore needs compacting as still quite loose, don't let this put you off though, the owners are there to help out if you get stuck, they kindly helped the people on the pitch next to us.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked We were both unaware of this campsite nestled 30mintues down the road and we can happily say it is a fantastic campsite. The pitches are very spacious and are separated by solar lights which are a really lovely addition. Throughout the campsite you find little nuances that help make the campsite unique and pleasant to relax in. Not to forget a mention for Flours at Etties pizza, which truly was out of this world! Highly recommend for those wanting to get away and relax, with a bit of luxury too.
Disliked None - a lovely experience for all

Liked This campsite is really fantastic and would recommend it to everyone for a woodland getaway.
There are no facilities on site except water and waste disposal, but i really wouldnt want to deter anyone from using this site.
Its in a beautiful setting, with established cycle and walking routes for all levels of experience.
We went for a long weekend getaway and it was very peaceful, scenic and a fantastic way to detach from the usual day to day routine.
Its safe to say we will be returning and was well worth the money:-)
