Bell tent (two person)
Liked The bell tent was incredibly well-equipped, we hadn't expected so much to be included and only actually realised the cooking/washing equipment was there on the second night! Views were lovely, site was quiet, and you definitely felt that you were in nature. The site has an atmosphere of wild camping but with a long-drop loo and sink (with drinking water), so somewhere between a field and a campsite!
Disliked The lock on the toilet was broken, and the shower ran out of gas while my partner was in it, turning ice cold, and due to the buildings being somewhat rustic they were very draughty so it was freezing! I also noticed the shavings in the loo were running very low towards the end of our stay. Due to the position of the tent (and the field more generally) there was a great deal of cold wind, which made it very difficult to cook, and also very loud in the tent. This may have been the residue of a storm though, and perhaps not usual. The other campers had positioned themselves in corners, while the bell tent was more exposed.

Kipper cabin
Liked Great wildlife around, red squirrel and woodpecker on the bird feeder outside our window! Foxes, rabbits, and other animals around, and it's a working farm - so mind your dog if you bring one. One or two very minor bits of constructive feedback were well received by owners which is always a good sign! Pub in walking distance, good food and dog friendly. No signal at cabin but that's a good thing to me!
Disliked Really minor points - brush but no dustpan for woodburner provided (we improvised), overhead light didn't work (plenty of lamps though), and quite a lot of flies, moths, and cobwebs inside despite keeping things closed, but that's nature!
