- Forest grove tent camping four miles west of Sequim
- On the Olympic Peninsula 20 minutes' drive from Port Angeles
- Wildlife haven with deer, squirrels and quail
As you might guess, there's woodland all around here – and you'll be very handily placed for wildlife watching, festivals and town days too.
Your tree-lined base is at Springer's Forest Grove, a forested park on Washington's Olympic Peninsula, five miles west of Sequim and 20 minutes' drive from Port Angeles. It's just off Highway 101, to make a handy base for exploring the peninsula and the Olympic National Park, cycling or hiking along the area’s trails, checking out the art, festivals and music of Port Angeles and Sequim, or taking a day trip to Victoria in Canada via the ferry from Port Angeles.
The park is for tents, are semi-secluded and among a grove of fir, cedar and maple trees. As you also might expect, this is a wildlife haven home too: deer, quail, squirrels, bullfrogs and the occasional coyote all have their home here, and many more species are around to spot along the peninsula and in the national park.
Amenities include a hot water shower tent, a water station, and a portable toilet centrally located to the pitches. A smal firepit is also available and firewood is sold by the team.
Dogs are welcome but on leads while around the park, please.
