Based in Frostproof, you’ll be well-situated for spending your days at the local fishing lake and taking day trips to Orlando’s theme parks (yes, they’re for big kids at heart too). The focal point of the resort might just be the heated swimming pool and two hot tubs, where you’re very welcome to breaststroke or bubble your days away. Being pet friendly is another big highlight for Rainbow RV Resort. For the added convenience, there are three large exercise runs so you don’t need to source canine’s daily walkies elsewhere. If you’d like to go lake fishing, the resort is 10 minutes’ drive from Crooked Lake, which has excellent year-round fishing. Along with the golf course five minutes’ drive away, these are affordable ways to spend your downtime. Otherwise, make use of the resort’s many facilities. It’s loaded with two clubhouse areas, six bathroom facilities, two launderettes, a fitness centre, billiards room, cards room and a crafts facility. Activities and special events are often on the schedule too. With shops five minutes’ drive away and Walt Disney World® Resort an hour’s drive away or Universal Studios Florida an hour and 10 minutes’ drive away, you’ll have plenty to keep you occupied at this peaceful place.
