What customers say
A tidy, well-kept site with grand staff. Pitches usually flat & roomy, with sound power/water. Showers & loos are spick-and-span. Handy for the train & buzzin' Zumaia, near beaches (best for surfers, mind). Some thought pitches were a bit close & the road a bit industrial, but it's worth it. Grand grub in the restaurant for a fair price.

Liked Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good little shop for basics (milk etc). You can order freshly baked croissants and baguettes, delicious. Site is set on a hill so has a nice, open feel. You can easily walk into the town, along the river bank, from it. Clean toilets, showers etc.
Disliked We were there in October so restaurant wasn't open for evening meals on the days we were there. Shower lights go off, and you have to leave the shower to activate the lights again, and at night it is completely dark so maybe needs a little permanent night light on.

Liked All the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Our touring pitch was level, easily big enough for the motorhome + awning, and provided with power and water. The showers etc were always clean. The situation gives perfect access to the railway station, and Zumaia is a lively working town. There are 2 beaches within a a couple of kilometres but the surf would usually make both unsuitable for children but great for surfers!
Disliked Nothing (a pity that the swimming pool closes in mid September - we just missed it!)

Liked De locatie was perfect, percelen ook. Douche gelegenheid prima, in sommige douches moet je de kraan alvast aanzetten ( duurt even voor je warm water hebt. Maar niet allemaal. Winkeltje niet echt uitgebreid, maarja je bent op de fiets in 10-15 min in Zumaia , dus geen ramp. Fijne camping!

Le personnel est aimable et disponible.
Disliked Dommage que la piscine n ouvre qu à 16h (pour nous ,français, cela fait un peu tard ..mais pas trés grave )
La piscine et les toilettes sont propres et agreables.

Liked Facilities, clean toilets and showers, great pool and fairly close to the town if you walk or ride along the river.
Disliked We had a tent literally right on top of our pitch with nothing but a wire fence between giving us and them absolutely no privacy, this was just luck of the draw and I think it only affects 3 of the pitches
