Looking for somewhere surrounded by fabulous natural landscapes and with lots of family facilities for your downtime? Within the coastal landscape of Ebro Delta Natural Park, Camping Eucaliptus should make the cut, with its family pool surrounded by shady palm trees and the light, airy on-site La Mar del Delta Restaurant serving up a traditional regional menu of rice dishes and fresh seafood. You could easily spend a day simply bouncing between the pool and various tasty plates of food – either from the restaurant or cooked up at the site's covered barbecue area (handily, there's also a well-stocked supermarket here). Kids will probably want to spend a bit of time at the play zones and sports field too, while canine guests get their daily exercise at the dedicated dog-friendly zone. It's certainly worth getting out to explore your surroundings, though – this location is a mere 15 minutes’ walk from Eucaliptus Beach and well within reach of popular birdwatching spots like Tancada Lagoon (15 minutes’ drive). You can also arrange cycling excursions through the rice fields (great for kids gaining biking confidence, as the routes are flat), or book boat trips down the Ebro River. And despite being so deeply embedded in nature, the site is only a 20-minute drive from Amposta, a traditional town where the architecture ranges from medieval to modernist.

Disliked No gestionaron bien a los participantes de un evento de motos, que estuvieron dos días en el camping, con música a todo volumen….

Querido cliente .
Esta concentracion de motos a la que usted se refiere , ha sido un echo excepcional en nuestro camping , muchos de los clientes que se han hospedado estos dias nos han felictado por la organizacion y la gestion de los actos organizados . El dia al que usted se refiere , fue el sabado por la mañana y en el momento que hicieron la salida las motos hacia una excursion . Eran aproximadamente las 10 de la mañana como usted dice y si que es verdad que estuvieron unos 30 minutos aproximadamente preparandose para la salida . Entiendo que le pueda molestar las musica a las 10 de la mañana , aunque eso si discrepo en lo de que el camping no llamara la atencion , yo mismo , el director , estuve junto con la organizacion controlando la salida , y yo mismo estuve en el punto mas cercano a la zona de acampada controlando que se minimizaran las molestias , y la verda no crei oportuno prohibir la musica , ni por el volumen , ni por el horario ni por el tiempo que duro un acto festivo como este . En el que muchos del resto de los clientes disfrutaron de este momento . Siento mucho que no coincidamos con la valoracion de los hechos , pero es muy dificil que llueva a gusto de todos .

Liked Sehr schöner und super gepflegter Platz. Tolle und super saubere Sanitäranlagen, die mehrmals am Tag gereinigt werden. Wenige Minuten zu einem riesigen Strand. Mehr kann man nicht von einem Platz erwarten. Nicht zu vergessen, der freundliche Service.

Liked Such a wonderful site, we knew it would be nice as soon as we pulled in. The trees, the wildlife, ducks and birds were lovely. Great sizeable pitches for 8.5 mtre Motorhome, clean site, clean amenities, bathroom and showers.
La Mar Del Delta restaurant was busy, which I thought is a good sign on a site and we were happy with standard and quality of the food. The fois gras salad and paella were very good and the wine prices were very reasonable. A really lovely stop over, would recommend as the site also has access to the beach.

Disliked Not enough sun loungers is my only gripe as we could only check in, in the afternoon, by which point, had no chance.

Liked Zona piscina, netedat, recicaltge, amabilitst del personal, tranquil.litat, prop de la platja…Un paradís al Delta.

Disliked Hi havia dos cavalls al costat del bugalow que els tenien molt descuidats, lloc petit, i sense herba. Estaven molt neguitosos.

Pero en quan al comentari referent als cavalls , li he de dir que :

Els cavalls a que voste es refereig son de raça Camarga , i els tenim molt ben cuidats , i habitualment en semi llibertat, en la finca adjacent de 40000 m . quadrats , i este cap de setmana els hem tingut que tancar pq estavem a la espera que vingues el ferrador per netejarlos els cascos . Te rao que no hi ha herva al tancat , no esta pensat pq hi pasturen els animals , pero hauria segut bo que es fixes que tots el dies sels ha sumistrat pinso i aigua , i s'ha netejat el tancat . Aquet tancat esta pensat per manipular els cavalls i les vaques per necessitat com ha segut els cas , pero en cap moment es el lloc habitual on hi viuen tant els cavalls com les vaques . Som grans amants dels animals i els cuidem molt per tant ens dolent molt les seves paraules i hauria estat be que s'hagues informat abans de posar estos comentaris tant desafortunats

Local attractions

Those who like to spend time watching wildlife will be in a top location at Camping Eucaliptus. On top of having easy access to Tancada Lagoon and boat trips on the Ebro Delta (both 15 minutes’ drive), just up the road is Riet Vell Nature Reserve (10 minutes’ walk), where birds like pink flamingos can be spotted among the wetlands. The Ecomuseum (15 minutes) in Deltebre has lots of exhibits about the nature and history of the local area, and the Ebro Lands Museum (20 minutes) is a good starting point to learn about the local heritage and the traditional llagut boats used on the delta. If you’re planning plenty of beach time for your holiday, Playa del Trabucador (15 minutes) should absolutely be on your radar. This long strip of sand has water on both sides; one side faces the Mediterranean Sea and the other faces the Bay of Alfaques. Waterfront cycling and kayaking are popular activities here. Back inland, you may fancy a trip to the Tinença de Benifassà Natural Park (an hour) to spend a day on the trails through pine and olive trees that encircle the turquoise waters of Ulldecona Reservoir, or wander through the historic centre of Amposta (20 minutes), known for its modernist buildings.
