What a super setting has Camping Estrella De Mar in the municipality of Castelldefels. Here come the numbers… five kilometres of sandy Med beach and ten kilometres of promenade are just 400 metres from the site; it's five minutes from the kitesurfing, canoeing and sky surfing of the Canal Olímpic – and it's a paltry 15-minute drive/40-minute bus ride to splendid Barcelona. And here's a numero uno too, for the site is in a woodland setting, in one of the biggest pine forests in Castelldefels. The friendly team here goes out of its way to help ensure guests have a smashingly relaxed Spanish holiday among tiptop levels of customer service and modern facilities: there's a paddling pool as well as a main outdoor pool, a café for bites and drinks, paid-for wifi and a play area. Guests can order bread for brekkie the next day. Camping Estrella De Mar's well-kept amenities include toilets, rainfall-style showers, a launderette, disabled facilities and a washing-up area. Friendly staff are also on-hand to help out.

Swimming pool fab
Football great for son but a lot of matches on the evening meaning can’t access them
Bus into Barcelona is great staff friendly and helpful
People talk about planes but honestly wasn’t that bad yes they go over but did not effect our stay what’s so ever

Disliked Shower block by tents needed to be cleaned more often no toilet roll and get quiet dirty

Liked Campeggio abbastanza buono qualità prezzo buona. Molto grande e spazioso. Personale gentile e disponibile molto educati. Ottima la sorveglianza che tiene d'occhio chi entra ed esce, soprattutto non fa' uscire i bambini da soli, quindi su questo premia un bel punteggio perché non è facile trovare una sorveglianza così ottima. Piscina ottima ben tenuta,parco per vari sport molto bello e ben tenuto. Ottimo per visitare la meravigliosa Barcellona. Consiglio

Disliked Market e bar gestito da persone penso non del campeggio. Molto maleducati e sporchi con prezzi molto alti e di scarsissima qualità.

Liked Not that many things because there is a lot more that I disliked so that weights more.

Disliked Not much respect for people who are camping. They earn a lot of money by season holders and leave the campers on the side. No respect for silence between 0:00 and 8:00 hours. People screaming in the middle of the night and no one cares. The toilets were disgusting. No paper and there was shit on the walls and on the floor. Definitely not a nice place to stay with young kids. We have been traveling and stayed at many campings but this was by far the worst ever.

Liked El personal de cafetería y bar eran estupendos!!!!! En especial Erika y su jefe que nos hacían las tardes amenas con su eterna sonrisa !
Las pizzas increíbles,

Disliked Fuimos con una Camper. Había una fuente no potable al lado, a la cual se le había caído el cartel y no lo habían puesto. Le tuvimos que advertir a dos niñas de que no bebieran de ahí. Además había “porquería” al lado de la Fuente dentro de nuestra parcela lleno de moscas (además íbamos con un perro). Resulta que habían vaciado la fuente porque estaba embozada y en vez de poner un cubo tiraron todo la m&€rd@ en nuestra parcela.
Eel pizzero un baboso !! Los del super sin mas, te miran de arriba a bajo y te cobran. Ellos solo existen y miran el móvil.
La parcela estaba super sucia! Con tapones de latas que tuvimos que recoger para que mi perra no se cortara!!!
La piscina solo está limpia por la mañana. Entre los campistas genial, pero habían algunas personas que vivían allí todo el año que escuchabas como te estaba criticando.
Las duchas tenían potencia en agua helada, pero te quedabas sin agua caliente y sin chorro de agua.
Las limpiadoras limpiaban si, pero ningún producto para desinfectar ni en duchas, ni baños, ni lavamanos!

Driving: Take the C-31 to Castelldefels. Take the exit signposted Km 16.7 approximately 1km before the Canal Olimpic. Follow signposts to the site. By bus: Take L94 departing from Plaça Catalunya (Barcelona centre). It leaves you in front of the entrance. By train: From Sants-Estació or Passeig de Gràcia take RENFE to Castelldefels.

As enthusiastically mentioned, Camping Estrella De Mar is in a super setting, whether you want to lounge around on a sandy white Mediterranean beach, get (slightly) active in a sporty or watersporty manner, or have cultured (and nightclubby) days and evenings out in busy Barcelona. A short walk away are five kilometres of beach and ten kilometres of promenade for strolling, skating, jogging and sitting watching the sunset through one's cocktail flagon at one of the several beachside bars and restaurants. If you fancy an indoor/till ringing day, a shopping mall is a short drive from the site. Within five minutes of the site is the Canal Olímpic, host to the canoe sprint events of the 1992 Olympics and now a venue for all sorts of sports of water and air: take to the canal for canoeing or kitesurfing, or skid above it Marty McFly-like for a spot of sky surfing among the clouds.
