Combine Spanish city and Spanish seaside at Aragon's Camping Ciudad de Zaragoza, only four kilometres from the bar and food culture of the splendid old city of Zaragoza and halfway between both the ports of Santander and Bilbao and the beaches of Costa Brava. Although it's in an eminently central location to everything you could fancy in the Zaragoza province, Ciudad de Zaragoza is a quiet site and set up for those who want to explore the region but have a peaceful base to come tiredly back to of an evening. It has an eminently excellent playground for kids, swimming and paddling pools, a communal barbecue area and a multisports area for Spanish racket game pelota, tennis, football and basketball. Local meals are dished up at the site restaurant, and there's also a café and a shop. The modern amenities include loo blocks with good facilities for disabled visitors, showers, changing rooms, toilets, sinks and washing machines. Camping Ciudad de Zaragoza has free wifi throughout.

Liked Great reception staff, very helpful...lovely pool area well kept...toilets& showers in great condition, well maintained...bar and restaurant area spotless and top notch service from friendly staff

Disliked The area for pitching tents resembled Gaza...practically impossible to pit h a tent as the ground was just rocks and gravel...this area especially for motorcyclists who travel light without sledgehammer should be grass covered and level

Disliked The camping site was surrounded by many trees, which gave it a nice natural feel, but it was also very dusty and sandy. I think the experience would be much better if the area had more grass or greenery to reduce the dust.

Liked Pitch was a decent size

Disliked - Reception was locked up when we arrived (well before it was due to close) and when the guy eventually showed up he was quite unfriendly.
- There was some kind of leak in the women's toilets that was all over the floor. - A male attendant was cleaning the women's showers and there was no warning of that.
- There were pools of water around the electrical hook-up points
