Campsite serene, owners brilliant. Pitches spotless, pool lovely, food grand. Great for stars and hills, but a bit out of the way. Could do with more loungers and a better play area.

Liked Camping pequeño, tranquilo, instalaciones cuidadas. La piscina es grande. Todo el personal amable.

Disliked Cerca no hay supermercado, hay que ir a comprar a huesca. Tienen bar que hacen menú y comidas para llevar, puedes comprar carbón, leche, pan y agua.

Disliked Camas incómodas camarote sin espacio para el de abajo. No hay parrilla en la barbacoa de pago publicidad engañosa, el río hay que ir en coche y caminar y es una poza, no ir con perros que no se puede disfrutar de la piscina tratan al cliente mal

Local attractions

A myriad of bizarre rock formations can be seen at Rodellar (50 minutes’ drive), Vadiello (40 minutes, where there are also awesome views over the namesake dam) and Riglos (about an hour). Something else you won’t see every day is bearded vultures in their natural habitat at Loarre (55 minutes) – they are surprisingly tame and you can get quite close to observe them. The Sierra y Cañones de Guara Natural Park is famed for its challenging canyoning along the Formiga River (15 minutes’ walk), family-friendly hiking in woodland and harder way-marked trails in the mountain foothills. Cyclists are well looked after too, with MTB, enduro, road and gravel routes throughout the park. If you need a day off from all that action, it’s worth having a potter around Panzano (direct access), overshadowed somewhat by Tozal de Guara, at 2077 metres the highest peak in the Sierra de Guara. Now with just a handful of residents, the village has a striking Romanesque-style church, a peaceful central square and the vibe of a bygone age.
