Liked: Der Camping Platz hat eine perfekte Lage. Mitten in der Natur, fußläufig zum See und ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Touren verschiedenster Art. Die Sauberkeit des Platzes und die der Sozialgebäude ist besonders hervor zu heben. Frühstück und Brötchenservice wurden ebenfalls angeboten.

Disliked: Leider mussten wir einige Tage eher abbrechen. Slowenien traf es sehr hart mit Unwettern.

Liked: Easy access to the lake with a lovely grassy lido area. Toilet block and shower facilities were very good and very clean. Staff were attentive. The bar and restaurant set up was great too and good value for money. Would visit again.

Liked: Really well located next to the lake plus a restaurant and small supermarket. Bikes for rent to explore the area. Mobile bakery on site in the morning. Clean facilities.

Disliked: Toilets/showers a little outdated and could benefit from a refurb. Tent pitches were in the far end corner at the back of the campsite - felt more tailored towards campervans etc

Camping pod (hot tub)

Liked: The location - it was beautiful sitting outside our pod being surrounded by birds and squirrels. There is a decent amount of space around each glamping pod and the trees provide privacy. The pod was clean, the beds comfortable and we were grateful for the fan. Having a private clean warm spacious bathroom was wonderful! We loved the breakfast hamper each morning and enjoyed having a relaxed breakfast outside. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and the on-site supermarket was well-stocked.

Disliked: We liked having a hot tub but the inside of it could do with being cleaned…the seats and sides of the hot tub felt slimey and the water looked dirty.

Local attractions

Among the many (many) options around here, you must (must) boat across the lake to Bled Island, where people have lived since prehistoric times – and jolly sensible of them too, as you'll no doubt agree when you clap eyes on the isle. The island's main building is the 17th-century church, where grooms traditionally carry brides up the 99 steps (cor) to ring the wishing bell in the tower beam. Also within easy reach (seriously, you'll need at least a couple of weeks) are the hiking and biking trails of Triglav National Park or taking a walk through Vintgar Gorge, both within 10 minutes' drive, and day tripping out to towns around Lake Bled such as Radovljica (20 minutes) and Bohinj (25 minutes). If your energy levels are up for the hike to Vintgar Gorge, you can get there in about a couple of hours from Bled; if not, book the shuttle bus from the tourist centre right beside the Bled bus station.
