Long white-sand beaches, gently lapping waves, watersports activities… clearly you must be on an island in the Indian Ocean? Well, not quite, because despite its name Camping Mauritius is actually in the seaside town of Mielno, on the Polish coast. The comparison is very valid though – because all those elements are present in this little town (although the sea might be slightly chillier than it would be in the tropics…). The long sandy beach is about five minutes’ walk away, with lots of space for sunbathing, games and picnics; it’s also a particularly lovely spot for a sunset stroll. The site is in a scenic spot overlooking Lake Jamno, which is a few minutes’ walk away when you fancy a cool dip, some fishing or renting a boat or watersports kit. The site has its own well-stocked grocery shop, and the town location means that there are plenty of other shops, cafés and places to eat within a few minutes’ walk. As well as the shop, the site’s facilities include a play area and various handy essentials including wifi, a kitchen and bathrooms with toilets, showers and accessible facilities. Families, groups and dog owners are all very welcome at this peaceful and laidback seaside site, so get set to bring your whole tribe along if you like.

Grand spot, friendly owners, near beach and town. Lovely atmosphere, tidy site, helpful staff, handy shop. BUT, pitches are a bit tight, can be noisy. One fella had deposit trouble, another thought the loos were a bit dated.

Liked - Sehr zentrale Lage im Ort, in nur wenigen Schritten erreicht man den Ortskern und den Strand
- mehrere Supermärkte in 5 -10 Minuten Entfernung
- jede Menge Restaurants und Eisdielen
- Platz schön gestaltet mit Picknickmöglichkeit
- Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Betreiber
Kleiner Kiosk mit Gemüse und Obst am Platz ( ggf. nur im Sommer )

On-site touring caravan (four person)

Liked Sauber, Gemeinschaftsküche und -bad vorhanden und auch sauber. Kleiner Spielplatz für Kita-Kinder. Kleine Wiese. Grillen möglich. Gleich nebenan ein Laden mit Obst/Gemüse/Getränke/Brötchen. Kurzer Weg zum Strand. Nebenan großer Parkplatz für die Camper.

Disliked Die Matratzen waren etwas durchgelegen. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier fehl am Platz. Wohnwagen sehr eng beieinander, man hört wirklich jeden Schritt und riecht jede Zigarette. WLAN vorhanden, dennoch schlechter Empfang.

Disliked Sehr laut, dreckig, Hund vom Chef bellt den ganzen Tag, keine Ruhe, laden macht die Preise wie sie wollen, mal mit , mal ohne Pfand und Karten gebühr. Wasser auch weiter weg als geschrieben. Auch völlig über füllt.

From the manager: Bardzo nam przykro, że otrzymaliśmy tak surową ocenę. Zawsze staramy się, aby na polu campingowym było czysto i schludnie. Łazienki i toalety sprzątane są każdego dnia z dużą dbałością, na co klienci w swoich opiniach często zwracają uwagę. Co do sklepu opinia ta jest bardzo krzywdząca i nieprawdziwa, gdyż opłata za kartę jest niezależna od nas, tylko od operatora terminala oraz klienta, który przy kartach zagranicznych ma wybór waluty, w której transakcja ma być rozliczona. W Polsce część szklanych butelek jest kaucjowana a od 2026 r. również wszystkie butelki plastikowe i puszki. Jeżeli zdarzyło się tak, że kaucja nie została Państwu naliczona, było to działanie na szkodę firmy a jednocześnie na korzyść klienta, który de facto powinien ją uiścić. Zastanawiający jest również fakt, iż przez cały pobyt nie słyszeliśmy z Państwa strony żadnych zastrzeżeń i uwag, które z pewnością wysłuchalibyśmy oraz starali poprawić tak, aby czuli się Państwo komfortowo.
Tak, czy inaczej bardzo serdecznie zapraszamy ponownie. Miło nam będzie Państwa gościć.

Liked V kempu se nám moc líbilo, jedná se o malý rodinný podnik.
Vše v pořádku, majitel i ostatní členové rodiny byli velmi příjemní, nabízené služby odpovídaly našim představám. V kempu je malý i obchůdek. K moři blízko. Můžou do kempu i pejsci (i když musí být na vodítku, ale to tak je i jinde)...

Disliked Mrzí mně, že nebyla majitelem akceptována mnou zaplacená záloha, kterou jsem poslala na pitchup.com ....
Ve společné kuchyňce se obtížně udržuje pořádek, když na tohle nedbají všichni v kempu ubytovaní...

Local attractions

Mielno is a lovely town to spend a few days in – you can hang out on the long sandy beach or head over to Lake Jamno for watersports, freshwater swimming, fishing and small boat rentals. Also within a few minutes’ walk are Rope Park Toucan for outdoor adventures and Dune Golf & Racing for indoor time – and you can hire e-bikes nearby for days of pedalling around coast and countryside. Heading away from Mielno, you may like to explore Themed gardens Hortulus (20 minutes’ drive), with a 20-metre-high observation tower at the centre of its gardens showcasing several different styles. There are also some lovely walks to take around the lighthouse in Gąski (10 minutes) or following the Leśna pętla przygód i tajemnic (Forest Loop of Adventures and Mysteries), a nature trail running from Mielno. Turning inland, step into the past at the Zagroda Jamneńska open-air museum (15 minutes) or treat the kids to some splashing time on the waterslides at Park Wodny Koszalin (20 minutes).
