Hartelijk dank voor je mooie beoordeling! We zijn blij om te horen dat je ons als verhuurders als fijn hebt ervaren en dat je alles mooi schoon was. We doen ons best om het iedereen zo prettig mogelijk te maken.

Disliked The picture on the Pitchup site does not reflect the reality of what we found.
Access is along a narrow road in need of some maintenance to a rather uninviting entrance to the site and the camping field was just grass in need of a cut. Nobody made any effort to greet us. We actually wondered if we were in the wrong location and tried searching the internet for information, which always led us back to where we were.
It is also a good walk in to the nearby town, which is nice to be fair.
An overnight site at best, which we had booked for four nights, not realising the effort required to reach entertainment and Giethoorn, which has four Motorhome/Camping sites to choose from and all within a short walk of the attraction. We decided just to move on and lose the full payment we had already paid through Pitchup, for more acceptable to us facilities for the same price per night.

We would like to clarify that the pictures on the Pitchup site do reflect the current state of our camping site. Of course, we understand that each guest’s perception can differ, and we respect your interpretation of the site’s appearance. As a small, family-run campsite, we value privacy and a relaxed atmosphere without strict rules, which many of our guests appreciate.

Regarding your arrival, it is common for guests to explore and find a suitable spot first. If the owners are not immediately visible, most visitors come to the front door afterward or simply give us a call—we’re always happy to assist. We apologize if this was not clear and if you felt uncertain upon arrival.

We appreciate your comments about the access road and entrance. While the road is narrow, it is monitored it to ensure it is safe and accessible, though it is not a new road for sure. Our grass field is kept natural to preserve the peaceful environment, and is regularly mown.

We’re glad you enjoyed the walk into town and appreciate your honest feedback about the location and nearby facilities. We understand that our site may not suit everyone’s preferences, especially for longer stays or those seeking more entertainment options nearby.

Disliked Met geen opvang. Moest zelf een plekje zoeken en de faciliteiten bekijken. Was er maar 1 nachtje, dus verder kan ik niet vertellen.

Bedankt voor uw beoordeling.
Wij vinden het jammer en vreemd dat wij elkaar niet hebben ontmoet, terwijl u daar wel behoefte aan had.
Normaliter melden onze nieuwe gasten zich altijd aan de voordeur van het woonhuis.
Hadden wij u daar aangetroffen dan hadden wij u zeker met alle liefde een plekje gewezen en u de faciliteiten laten zien. Als kleine camping hebben wij helaas geen receptie die 24/7 open is. En u had ons uiteraard ook altijd mogen bellen met dit verzoek. Wij bieden in ieder geval onze excuses aan voor uw minder fijne ervaring op onze camping.
