It's free, quick and easy!
- On Tuscany's southern Maremma coast, 200 metres from the sea
- A 20-minute drive to Piombino and 45 to Grosseto
- Fully-serviced pitches, each with its own garden
Because your caravan or camper needs a break sometimes too. Give the wheels a rest and a handsome sea view as well by parking them up at CamperOasi, a well kitted-out park for mobile berths – and their owners – on Tuscany's southern Maremma coast.
CamperOasi is in the Livorno province, in the region of the coastal, ancient Etruscan, archaeological and natural Val di Cornia parks. There's enough to keep you occupied for aeons when you and your wheels are sufficiently rejuvenated and ready to explore the region, with Piombino, Castiglione della Pescaia and Grosetto all within easy reach, along with stacks of sandy beaches, the Natural Park of Maremma and hillside towns like Campiglia and Bolgheri.
Pitches here are – as you might have guessed – for tourers, motorhomes and campervans, but you get a bit more bang for your euro too: all pitches are fully serviced, with water connection, hook-up and sewage disposal on each, and each has a private garden for you, the kids and the dog to stretch out and lounge about on for picnics, sunbathing and general lazy days.
There are communal showers and toilets too, as well as a launderette, charging facilities and free wifi across the entire park.

Local attractions
This lush slice of Italy is within easy reach of ancient sites and modern resorts, golden beaches and green hills, with other famed sites such as Campiglia and Sassetta within day trip distance in the surrounding hills.
After a day or two at the beach, continue your regional exploring with a pampering session (or two) at the Venturina spa and wellness resort to the north, or drive west to Piombino, for its ancient port and for ferry trips out to Elba Island. Both are around 20 minutes from the site.
It's well worth the 45-minute drive to Punta Ala, the famed seaside resort making up a frazione of the ancient city, swish beaches and glitzy nightlife of Castiglione della Pescaia. Also recommended for days out are Piombino's Baratti and Populonia Archeological Park (20 minutes), the mining town of Massa Marittima (25 minutes) and flamingo spotting at the Diaccia Botrona nature reserve (50 minutes).
Also have a trip out to Maremma's most populous city Grosseto (45 minutes), where must-sees include the 13th-century cathedral and the spectacular old Palazzo Aldobrandeschi.
