Italian seaside hol? And how about a free shuttle bus to the nearest – and fab – golden sandy beach? Get thee to Lignano Girasole Park, a relaxed, family-friendly site a short walk from the marina of Aprilia Marittima and a couple of kilometres from the seaside resort of Lignano. It’ll take you around five minutes to drive to the nearest beach, but if you’d rather leave the wheels on site, that shuttle bus will whisk you over there for free. When not spending the day on the beach there’s plenty to keep you occupied on site: a swimming pool, kids’ pool, four tennis courts, a playground, table tennis and space to play games of football, basketball and beach volleyball. Eats and drinks are easily sorted on site between the offerings of the bar, restaurant and pizzeria, and guests can also pick up breakfast bits including bread and milk from the shop. This is a place that hums with activity through the summer months; a busy programme of activities and entertainment often includes sports tournaments, live music, films, theme dinners and karaoke. If you’re heading out it’s worth having a word with the folks on site for insider info on the special deals the park has with local restaurants and attractions.

Liked Buonasera, il campeggio mi é piaciuto per la tranquillità e per le piazzole grandi messe a diposizione. inoltre la corrente elettrica messa a disposizione é stata ottima per l'impianto del mio camper. l'ambiente familiare ha fatto il resto: dopo tanti anni ritrovare persone di vecchia conoscenza ha stabilito un clima di serenità e un pò di malinconia!

Disliked Quello che il campeggio dovrebbe migliorare sono alcune docce di alcuni servizi che proprio non ne volevano saper di funzionare: l'acqua era o troppo calda o troppo fredda, senza poterla regolare. Per fortuna c'erano anche docce funzionanti, bastava fare due passi in più. Inoltre dovrebbe essere migliorato il Camper Service: andava bene per i camper del 1980, ma per quelli più recenti era molto difficile usufruire del servizio, anche se l'area messa a disposizione era grande. Andrebbe rifatto lo scarico acque nere e grigie.

Disliked Het sanitair was verschrikkelijk. Vies, Deuren konden niet op slot. Douchen achter een douchegordijn.
Er stond een caravan met hele harde muziek op, de eigenaar reed er een paar keer langs maar zei er niets van.

Viel Platz zum nächsten Campingwagen oder Zelt
Sehr moderate Preise an der Bar bzw. Restaurantbereich, jedoch sind alle Speißen reine Fertiggerichte aus der Mikrowelle.

Disliked Die Sanitäranlagen sind eine absolute Katastrophe. Uralt und heruntergekommen. Sehr verschmutzt.

If you're on your seaside hol with the kids – or indeed are sensible enough to sort a theme park day while on said seaside hol – two topping picks are within 10 minutes' drive: Gulliverlandia amusement park (with circus), and the Aquasplash waterpark, each four kilometres away. You'll also need to sort some time in Lignano Sabbiadoro/Lignano, for its serviced beaches stretching over several kilometres; head to the old centre for shops and restaurants too, and the Lignano Pineta gardens and paths for peaceful strolls. Also drop into the nearby marina, the biggest in Italy, to gaze enviously at the hundreds of boats. Delving into Italy's ancient history (there be loads), the Roman ruins of Aquileia are just under an hour's drive away and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Friuli within an hour and a quarter. Venice is an hour and 15 minutes to the west.
