Liked Toll, einfach und etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber noch ein richtiger, sehr sauberer Campingplatz. Eignet sich super, um den Urlaub nach der Fährfahrt geruhsam zu beginnen, oder auch ausklingen zu lassen. Super freundlicher Empfang. Leider mussten wir vor dem Feuer fliehen und haben später gehört, dass die Gegend evakuiert würde. Wir hoffen, der Platz ist noch heil, denn wir würden gerne wieder kommen.

Weg zum Strand ist nicht so schön
Sieht nicht so aus wie auf den Bildern
Platz ist mitten im nichts, nächste Stadt ist 35 Minuten entfernt und es gibt nichts in der Nähe

Liked beautiful site, quiet under the olive trees. The owner was very kind to wait for us due to very late arrival by ferry.

Liked The owner was so helpful when we had trouble with our motorhome battery. He called local mechanics to fix it. The battery was expensive but the labor was almost free. The washrooms were a bit dated but the shower stalls were large with plenty of hot water. The nearby town was full of nice restaurants and shops. Our 9 metre motorhome fit a few of the pitches. It was very quiet (it is still winter) and wonderful to wake up to the sounds of birds. The road into the campground was wide enough to navigate our motorhome.

Disliked Washrooms were clean but somewhat dated

Liked The bathrooms and pitches were very clean. I also liked how the pitches were under trees to shade from the sun. Unfortunately we didn’t get to experience the restaurant or bar!

Disliked €5 for laundry! Most expensive one I’ve found in Europe so far. Also overnight there was a lot of noise from local dogs

The city’s Holy Church of Saint Andrew the Apostle (25 minutes’ drive) is a huge basilica and pilgrimage place, while the Archaeological Museum of Patras (half an hour) has archaeological finds from the local area. You might want to take your coffee with the views of the city from Patras Castle (25 minutes) or wander down to somewhere in the central Georgiou I Square (25 minutes), before catching a show in the Apollon Theatre (25 minutes). On the outskirts of Patras, the historical winery, Achaia Clauss (20 minutes), try wine specialties such as Mavrodaphne and demestica while touring the vineyard. What day trips might you want to embark on too? Perhaps the Archaeological Site of Olympia (an hour and 10 minutes), where the ancient Olympic Games took place? A scenic train ride to the Great Cave Monastery (an hour and 20 minutes)? Other options include the Kalavryta area, where there are historic hills, the Agia Lavra Monastery, and the stalactites and stalagmites of the Cave Lakes - Kastria Cave (an hour and 55 minutes).
