Campsite peaceful, with decent facilities and helpful staff. Lovely lake access & scenery. Good for families, but a bit rustic. Some issues with showers & electrics, and no shop.

Liked Friendly welcome, own choice of pitch, food truck on site every night, bar, lovely staff, clean. We stayed longer than planned and hope to return. Facilities are basic but all you need. Direct access to the lake for swimming and paddleboarding.

Disliked De douchen ( oud en koud ) en savonds in en in donker op de camping .
Ook was ontvangst heel rommelig en wij moesten alles zelf maar uitzoeken .

Liked Op de camping mag je jouw eigen plek uitzoeken. Wij hadden geluk en een hele ruime, mooie plek. Het is heel rustig op de camping, ondanks dat het heel vol was op de camping.
Camping ligt direct aan het water en heeft een eigen strandje. Mooie wandel mogelijkheden dichtbij de camping.

Disliked Camping is overgenomen door de camping ernaast. Dit is overigens nergens aan te merken. Sanitair is niet onderhouden. Schimmel, afgebladderd beton, koud water, donkere toiletten. Wij gingen op de camping ernaast douchen. Daar was het in elk geval schoner, maar ook daar lauw water.

Liked Het weer, zwemmeer van de buurman en het uitzicht daar

Disliked De reservering voor de camper was verwerkt niet, dus ik had geen plaats met stroom. De paar energiekasten op de camping stonden te ver weg. Douches stonken, gaven minimale straal en maar 1 minuut lauw water, alle plafonds bij het sanitair zaten onder de spinnenwebben en insecten, van het sanitair hadden alleen de toiletten licht, alle grasvelden zaten vol kuilen, totaal geen onderhoud aan de struiken en gras, geen internetverbinding, in de 'bar' kon niet contant betaald worden. Dus hier nooit meer.

M'n zoon vertelde bij vertrek pas dat het een natuurcamping was🤣🤣

Liked If you want to have quality time and very peaceful place with your family,
Camping Ferrand is the right place for you.
Our kids enjoyed the lane and a very affordable too with professional cleaning ladies and I’ll never forget the very nice hot water shower that they have.

Also my wife lost her atm card after she bought some bread in Camping Ferrand’s store, she went back and someone returned it in the reception office which are very happy to have such a nice place and honest people.

Thanks again so much for such a wonderful place.

First move for active families will probably be straight down to the beach on Lac d’Aiguebelette; from there you can explore this protected marine reserve by boat and paddleboard, go fishing or stay on dry land and follow the way-marked trails around the shores of the lake on foot or by e-bike (hire the latter on site). If you’d like a different perspective on the lake, head for Novalaise (15 minutes’ drive), the departure point for hang-gliding adventures over the water. You can experience all the fun of the fair at Walibi Rhône-Alpes (half an hour), which caters for all levels of bravery, from kid-friendly boat cruises around the waterpark to downright scary rollercoaster rides. Elfy Park - La Terrasse (about an hour) is probably better suited to younger kids, and serves as an introduction to low-level ziplines and rope courses designed to build their confidence. Bula Kids (40 minutes) and Kabane (35 minutes) are other options for toddlers, both with soft-play centres and climbing equipment.
