Liked: Good even ground pitches. Friendly staff at reception. Plenty of space to walk your dog and children to play. Their is a river close by where they do canoeing, also their are cycles.

Liked: Fantastic site, spotlessly clean and owners could not be more helpful. Short walk into the village which has a small range of shops a bar and restaurant. Beautiful location found plenty to do over 4 days with walks, bike rides and river options direct from the site. Large pitches and plenty of shade if needed.

Tipi

Liked: Lovely, peaceful area that is situated along the beautiful river. Facilities were clean, spacious and plentiful so there's no chance of being stuck queueing. Hosts were kind and helpful, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We booked this last minute as it was 40 minutes from Poitiers, Futuroscope for my son.

Local attractions

Get out and explore by hiring a bike or canoe from the site; friendly reception staff can also give you details of hikes both gentle and strenuous. There are some comely little fishing spots along the Gartempe river and the nearby Anglin, and more than 100 routes for experienced climbers along the limestone cliffs around Saint-Pierre-de-Maillé. Drive up to Angles-sur-l’Anglin (10 minutes), to potter about in the pretty village and to wander around the ruins of its hilltop fortress and see the prehistoric carvings in the Roc-aux-Sorciers cave. If you’re partial to a castle or two, fit in a trip to Chauvigny, where there are five to pick from (or visit them all on a castle crawl). La Roche-Posay, a 20-minute drive from the site, is the place to visit for a golf course, horse racing and thermal spa sessions. Even if you’re not actually heading into the baths, the Parc Thermal is a handsome place to wander around, with its gardens divided into themed areas. If the kids demand to up the adrenaline levels somewhat, the fab Futuroscope theme park is 45 minutes’ drive away.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Dogs

Dogs are not allowed if you are staying in the accommodation units.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.

Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.

General

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

Hired accommodation

No naked flames are allowed inside the hired accommodation units.

Arrivals and departures

No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Pitches: a €50.00 deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure when returning the gate badge/barrier pass/toilet keys.

Quiet hours must be respected between 10:30 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.

Reception

Reception is open from 8 a.m. to noon and from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. between 01/07 and 01/09.
Reception is open from 9 a.m. to noon and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. between 06/09 and 30/06.

Vehicles

The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the extra.

General

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Dogs

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

General

The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.
