Camping la Raudière is in rural France, bordering Deux Sevres and Maine-et-Loire.
It has large pitches for tents, tourers and motorhomes, with plenty of space around each pitch.
The showers and toilets are located in a converted barn, which also has electric sockets and a washing machine.
The large outdoor pool is heated up to 28 degrees. The on-site Bar Oasis is open seven days a week in the summer season (July and August) and six days a week in low season, serving drinks including local wine.
Food is available most evenings with some theme nights too. As well as themed evenings, entertainment at weekends in the summer includes music and wine tasting.

By plane
Our nearest airports are Nantes, Poitiers and La Rochelle.
By car from La Rochelle
Head north towards Bordeaux/Poitiers/Niort/Cholet/Nantes/Angers and follow the signs for A83/E3 heading towards Angers/Nantes/Cholet/La Roche-sur-Yon.
Merge onto the A83/E3 and continue for about 30km.
Take the exit onto the A87 towards Angers/Cholet/Les Herbiers and continue for about 45km.
Take exit 26 towards Saumur/Cholet-Nord/Vihiers.
At the roundabout, take the third exit onto the D960. Continue for approximately 18km.
At the fourth roundabout take the D748 exit toward Vihiers/La Fromagerie/Bressuire. Continue for 6km.
Turn right onto the D164 and left after 500m. The campsite will be on your right.

Martigné Briand and Saumur are 40 minutes away.
The site is in the Anjou wine region with a huge choice of vineyards to visit: taste the dry Sauvignon or fruity Anjou Rouge.
The zoo at Doué la Fontaine is popular with children and adults.
The Puy de Fou, a medieval-style theme park with spectacular shows, is 40 minutes away. Don't miss the fantastic sound and light show on summer nights.
For shopaholics, Angers or Cholet has everything you need.
There is a supermarket at Vihiers and Argenton les Vallées along with banks, a post office, restaurants and bars.
