Camping Sun Océan

Liked All the staff at the site were friendly, limited English but not a problem, all eager to help. Site is within walking distance of 2 supermarkets and bakery. plus the village of Talmont was about 15-20 minutes walk. Well worth it to see castle and local church. In addition there is zcycle route through the village which goes through a park with large lake, bar, cafe and children’s play area. The site was quiet when we stayed for 2 weeks in June. The pool got busy of an afternoon- 6 people at the most!!Site is tidy and well maintained. It is in a semi rural position so good for peace and quiet and relaxation.

Disliked On the negative side, the shower block needs some work doing on it- some floor tiles missing along drain channels, no soap in hand dispensers in sinks. Limited opening times of bar, although this was probably due to low numbers staying on site. Local bus service only runs a few times during the day. The pitches are a decent size however if you have a larger motorhome it could be tricky to get and out of plot.

Liked Nice pitches, well defined with hedges. We were on a perimeter pitch overlooking a big cornfield. Water tap for each pitch. Very friendly staff and a nice indoor swimming pool. There was a lovely bakery just down the road and in the other direction there was a large Lidl in easy walking distance. The wifi was cheap (10e for seven days) and very good even in the van which was about has far away from reception as you could get. There is a free shuttle bus to the local beach which we regularly used. This was great as parking there was very limited. We also caught the bus to Les Sables d'Ollone which only cost a couple of euros.

Disliked The toilet and shower block was cleaned every morning but I thought there were not quite enough in the one block when the site was at full capacity, but this is only a minor criticism.

Disliked Le bloc sanitaire sale, pas assez nettoyé. Pas assez de douches et de toilettes.
Le sol pour planter les tentes était trop sec.

Liked le calme , la propreté, la taille des emplacements, emplacements ombragé

Liked Le camping familial avec des emplacements ombragés. L'aire se jeux est suffisamment grande. Terrain de pétanque à disposition. Piscine grande et couverte.

Disliked Les sanitaires qui sont vétustes, ils méritent un gros coup de neuf.

Liked J’ai apprécié la petite taille du camping, le petit verre d’accueil de l’équipe , la présentation des activités, ça ne se fait pas partout ,l'ambiance familiale , le calme le soir et le respect de chacun. La propreté des lieux communs .
Les différents types de propisition d’hébergements.
La location de velo, la possibilité de navette pour se déplacer.
Les proches commerces .
La gentillesse du personnel.

Disliked Les jeunes filles adolescentes qui réquisitionnent les douches pour chanter et danser au son de l’eau qui coule.
Devoir attendre pour se laver ça faisait une file de personne , comme j’aime à positiver , nous avons fait connaissance.

Liked Nähe zu Supermarkt und Bäcker

Disliked Sehr dreckige und geruchsintensive Toiletten und Sanitärbereich. Toiletten ohne Klobrillen, sehr verdreckt, Duschen verschimmelt, Waschbecken und Handtuchhalter sehr alt und abgenutzt. Der gesamte Bereich riecht sehr intensiv nach Schimmel, Muff und Urin. Auch die Tatsache, dass Campingklos in den geschlossenen Räumen ohne Fenster geleert werden ist nicht angenehm, gerade wenn man duschen möchte, oder Geschirr wäscht.
Auch die Reinigung der Sanitäranlagen war sehr oberflächlich, unhygienisch und definitiv zu selten!!!
Da Landstrom nur mit 10 Ampere abgesichert sind, kann man immer nur ein Elektrogerät zeitgleich nutzen. Also Kühlschrank aus, dann Wasserkocher an. Nicht zeitgemäß!
