Liked: Peaceful Lake was lovely. Pitches were good sized and fairly level. The few activities available around the lake were good and reasonably priced - mini golf, pedalos, pony riding. But we were definitely expecting more around from what we had read. Site had a good small playground, there was a bigger adventure playground 5 mins walk away near the lake. Facilities were kept clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ordering croissants for the next day was easy and they were tasty.

Disliked: We found the advertising a little misleading - it said there was lots of activities on for children and a small shop/takeaway on site. In reality there was no entertainment and it wasnt even possible to buy water on site. The food truck was a health food type thing - no good for fussy children (or adults!) Unfortunately we didn’t manage to enjoy the lakeside beach as the weather was not good but this would definitely have been good in the sun!

Liked: Camping très propre, personnel très accueillant, emplacement vraiment grand, sanitaire propre. Vraiment je recommande le camping, nous y retournerons dès que l’occasion s’y présentera. Au bord du lac, avec les activités avec des enfants en bas âge c’est top !

Disliked: Was not let in to camp as arrived 15mins after reception closed and none of the contact numbers from the email or pasted onto the entrance door worked. no response from site after emailing multiple times. Had to drive around to find somewhere else that evening. Unacceptable customer service. If you expect to have any issues or delay don’t bother booking here as you won’t be let it. DO NOT have any unplanned stops or emergencies.

Liked: The layout was good and we could pick our pitch. The facilities were good for w/c and showers . Washing/ tumble dryer on site at a reasonable cost. Walk out of the site and there's a great walk around the lake. A 5 minute walk along the lake and there is a man made beach with snack bar.

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.

Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.

Dogs are prohibited from main facilities and amenities.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

Vehicles

The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. Cars are not permitted when travelling with a motorhome/campervan.

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Dogs

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
