- Family-friendly Lot Valley campsite with a natural feel
- Cahors 20 minutes' drive; 50 minutes from Saint-Cirq-Lapopie
- Outdoor pool with separate kids' paddling section; bar-restaurant
Reflect, relax and rediscover the joys of the countryside at Les Reflets du Quercy, a well-maintained family-friendly holiday park in the spectacular Lot Valley. Surrounded by old medieval towns and gorgeous green landscapes, this rural site is full of trees, shrubs and shaded areas, plus a good number of top amenities to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
First up, there's the spacious outdoor pool. This is heated to keep the temperature constant and has bonus attractions including a separate kids' paddling zone and jets. Other leisure options like basketball court, table tennis and volleyball will help fill your days with active pursuits – and when you're well and truly tired out, you can wander over towards the bar-restaurant for a well-deserved pick-me-up.
Les Reflets du Quercy is just on the edge of the village of Crayssac, a couple of kilometres to the north of the Lot river and a five-minute drive from the D811 main road. Head east from here and you'll reach the medieval town of Cahors and its gorgeous Valentré Bridge in about 20 minutes. Keep going in the same direction for 10 minutes more and you'll soon be deep in the Causses du Quercy, a large protected park with exceptional cliffs, caves and plateaus.

Local attractions
Les Reflets du Quercy is an excellent spot for exploring ancient history, with the nearest highlight being the incredible Pterosaur Beach (five minutes’ drive). Before you rush to pack sunscreen and a towel, it's worth pointing out that this isn't a spot for swimming – the lagoon that used to be here is now long gone. What you can see, though, are hundreds of dinosaur footprints from 140 million years ago in a well-illuminated underground cave.
To discover more of the local landscape, take to any one of the traffic-free hiking trails that start in the village, or for something a bit more adventurous head out horse riding or paragliding (both 10 minutes). The aptly-named green-tinted waters at Lac Vert (10 minutes) are also very easy to reach if you're in the mood for fishing, hiring a pedalo or having a picnic in a scenic lakeside setting.
Looking to leave the car behind? This site organises a number of excursions to local towns like Cahors (20 minutes' drive), ancient villages like Rocamadour (an hour) and natural landmarks like the spectacular Saint-Cirq-Lapopie (55 minutes) and Gouffre de Padirac (an hour and 10 minutes). (Extra charges apply).
