- Countryside site on the Taurion river
- Nearby hiking and mountain bike trails
- Pool, tennis, snack bar, miniature golf and fishing on site
Fishing right on site and mountain bike and valley trails nearby… prep for peaceful or adrenalised days with a Limousin break at Camping Au Pont Du Dognon.
This is a small and quiet site on the banks of the Taurion river, between Ambazac and Saint Léonard de Noblat and 30 kilometres from Limoges. Five French Cycle Federation (FFC) mountain bike trails and kilometres' worth of hiking trails stretch through the Ambazac mountains and the Taurion valley areas, around 30 kilometres away, and the pilgrimage route of Santiago de Compostela crosses the Taurion at the site's nearby town of Saint-Laurent-les-Églises.
Camping Au Pont Du Dognon has extensive facilities for its size: as well as the fishing, there's a pool and a games room, miniature golf, free wifi, a bar and a takeaway.
A bar and restaurant are half a kilometre away and more shops are 10 kilometres away in Ambazac.
