Get set for a sweet getaway at Village Vacances Les Abricotiers, a family-friendly site five minutes’ drive from the centre of the Pyrénées-Orientales town of Argelès-sur-Mer in Languedoc-Roussillon. This is an excellent base for beach trips: it's a five-minute drive from beaches for sandy strolls, swimming and watersports. On non-beach days, there’s an outdoor pool (open during high season only) on site for leisurely paddles, and there are football, water polo, pétanque and ping pong tournaments to sign up for during high season. Keeping energy up for all that activity is as simple as wandering over to the snack bar (open in July and August only) for a quick bite, and remembering to order fresh bread and pastries from the bar for the morning, or getting something grilling on the barbecue for dinners done by yourself. If you're yet to source ingredients, look towards the shops five minutes' drive away in Argelès-sur-Mer. This part of France also has many vineyards and wineries, so start crossing tours and tastings off the list – there are more than 10 within easy reach.

Spacious pitches in a peaceful spot, great for cycling to the beach. Activities are a hit. A few had check-in hassles with staff and pitch issues. Sanitary facilities were a worry for some, needing more attention. Pool's a bit small, and watch out for the flies.

Disliked Parcelas de la tienda de sol temprano en la mañana y por la noche. Para tener electricidad, el contador está a más de 30 m de la ubicación. Duchas y baños sucios. Si quieres ir a la piscina, ten cuidado, está llena de avispas, incluso en la piscina infantil. ¡No es lo mejor para los más pequeños!

Disliked Bonjour ,

Pour commencer on n'a du attendre longtemps a l'accueil pour pouvoir aller au Camping (les horaires ne sont pas respectées).
Les emplacements sont mal placé les bornes électriques et les point d'eau sont mal situé ,les emplacements ne sont pas du tout entretenu...
Le terrain de foot si on peut appeler sa comme sa n'est pas tondue pas de Filet sur les caches de foot .
Piscine trop petite pour la capacité du camping.
Les sanitaires sont vétuste très salle robinet casser ménage fait au jet d'eau pas en profondeur on n'a même pas l'impression que le ménage a été fait ,les bacs pour vaisselle n'ont pas été fait pendant au moins 4 jours j'ai même pris des photos les poubelles sont pas vidé il ya même eu des excréments dans les douches ,une couche était même au plafond des douches hommes pendant deux semaine ,
Nous ne pouvons même pas prendre un café ou manger le midi au snack car fermé ouverture qu'à 16h !!!
Pas d'animations elles ont répétitif dur que 30 min pas de motivation .
Pas d'hygiène pour la piscine les personnes se baignent tout habiller.
Au niveau de la laverie trop cher et que 3 machine pour toute le camping bac trop petit et un seul sèche linge .
Une dame de l'accueil pas très agréable (la blonde).
Nous ne reviendrons pas dans ce camping très lamentable....très déçue ,tout les personnes avec qui nous avons parlé n'étaient pas content du tout de ce camping.

Liked La piscine et les pizzas, l'accueil était agréable

Disliked L'emplacement était pas exploitable entièrement, une tranchée était en plein milieu.
Les sanitaires étaient dans un très mauvais état, sales, cheveux ou saletés qui bouchent les douches pas enlevé de la semaine .
Le camping pourrait être bien mais agencé et manque d'ombres.
Dommage mais nous ne reviendrons pas.

Disliked Camping non entretenu. Herbes hautes et mauvaises herbes sur emplacement. Emplacement non nettoyé plein de déchets. Chemin non entretenu. Bloc sanitaire à l’opposé des emplacements de tente. Un seul bloc sanitaire sur tout le camping. Sanitaires sale et insalubres. Ménage fait 1 seul fois le matin à une heure inappropriée. Piscine surpeuplée.

Liked Stellplatz für das Geld war super . Lage ist auch gut .

Disliked Sanitäranlage müsste mehr gereinigt werden . Die Duschen und Toiletten waren oft sehr verschmutzt da es echt viele wiederliche Menschen gibt. Man sollte nicht nur einmal am Tag reinigen.

Local attractions

A juicy stay is a near certainty hereabouts, as there’s absolutely loads to do within half an hour’s drive of base. Zoologists of all ages are particularly well served with a reptile zoo, butterfly farm, petting zoo, eagle park and horse-riding tours within 15 minutes, but there’s plenty for everyone else too. Active types can test out their sense of adventure at Canyoning Park – it’s in a waterpark, so it’s a safe spot for first timers – or test their mettle with high-wire explores at Paradise Aventure, both 10 minutes away. Adding water to the mix is easy at Aqualand waterpark, also 10 minutes from base. History buffs can start just five minutes from the site with a tour of a local glass factory where traditional methods of manufacture are on display. The Maternité Suisse, a museum dedicated to the Catalan and Spanish refugee crisis of 1939, is 10 minutes away. For local history on a grander scale, tour the nearby towns and cities: try Collioure (10 minutes) for its castle and forts, or venture the 20 minutes to Perpignan to poke around museums and explore the city’s stunning 13th-century palace and gardens, once home to the kings of Majorca.
