Set on the banks of the Marne river in the Paris outskirts, Paris Est is a family-friendly site (but of course), with facilities on hand for those times when you're not sightseeing or rollercoastering: there's a bar and bistro with a spacious terrace and a playground where the kids can go loopy in between trips to see Mickey et al at Disneyland Paris. Grand spot for Paris and Disney, with great public transport. Staff are a big hit. Pitches are roomy. Showers and loos could do with a spruce-up and a bit more scrub. Motorway hum is a bother for some.

Liked Looking at other reviews we were on the fence about this site, but from the moment we arrived it was just fantastic. Part of our positive viewpoint may have been due to the time of year we stayed as it was only about a fifth full at best. We can imagine that in the height of summer that there would be more pressure and impact on the sites facilities. The welcome was reassuring, a securely manned gate upon entry and each pitch with a lock on it. The toilets were pretty immaculate and whilst they were shared, we had no issue with any of our party. The bus from the site to the train station (Joinville le point) is part of the €12 day ticket into and across Paris. The site was quiet and the shop was well stocked and like any camp shop you’d find anywhere else. Overall a 10/10 site!! (Albeit out of season)

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Stellplatz super. Restaurant super. Lage super. Verbindung in die Stadt Paris super. Duschen war vom Wasser Wärme und Sauberkeit gut. Personal war hilfsbereit und nett. Campingplatz liegt am Fluss der mit einem Code hinterm Zaun zureichen ist sehr schön für Fahrrad, Roller oder zu Fuß auch zur Bowling Bahn (Billard und paar andere Spielautomaten auch dort bei der Bowling Bahn) erreichbar. Dort ist auch eine Disco. Fahren auch Schiffe über den Fluss.

Disliked Sauberkeit der Toiletten geht so. Mit Sagrotan säubern dann ist ok. Wenn mehrere duschen wurde das Wasser beim duschen mal wärmer als eingestellt oder kalt, das ist aber oft überall so.Auf Stellplatz liegt noch Müll unter den Hecken von Vorgänger rum. Wenn Autobahn Lärm stört ist der Platz eher nichts. Ich fand den Straßenlärm nicht so schlimm kaum gehört, aber die Polizei Sirene ist ständig zu hören.

Der kom en forbi og kiggede på det, og så skete der ikke mere.
