  • Riverside site between Paris and Disneyland Paris
  • A 20-minute bus ride from Paris city centre: bus stop outside the site
  • Bar, bistro, spacious terrace, playground and multilingual team
Fancy a romantic or family hol in splendid Paris – but come down with les vapours at the thought of Paris hotel prices? Give Camping Paris Est a go to save more euros for souvenirs and eats: it's only 20 minutes from the capital, and between the city and heady days out among Mickey and co at Disneyland Paris 40 minutes away. Set on the banks of the Marne river in the Paris outskirts, Paris Est is a family-friendly site (but of course), with facilities on hand for those times when you're not sightseeing or rollercoastering: there's a bar and bistro with a spacious terrace and a playground where the kids can go loopy in between trips to see Mickey et al at Disneyland Paris. The grocery shop on site stocks fresh fruit, veg and a wide range of other foodie bits. And if you're not sure where to start when exploring the very famed capital city of France? The multilingual and amiable site Camping Paris Est team can give you all the tips you need, as well as a hand booking activities of all sorts.

What customers say

Praised for its location & Paris links. Clean facilities, friendly staff, spacious pitches. Some dated amenities & road noise, but largely a great experience, with many keen to return.

Electric hardstanding and grass motorhome pitch

Liked El sistema de cierre de las parcelas

Disliked Muchísimo ruido por la noche de la autovía ,además la gente entra a última hora y sale a primera hora sin respetar a los demás , x lo que debería de haber un horario de entrada y salida.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Location of the campsite and public transport links.

Disliked The area the site is located in is deprived, outside the site along the river bank there are alcoholics drinking from 10am, groups of men. We went for a bike ride along the river and came across a large group of lads and a burnt out motorbike. The site has codes for the main barriers at the entrance and the side gates, however a large vehicular gate is left open day and night at the back of the site where people and vehicles were coming and going day and night. The washing up sinks have no lighting and the hot water doesn’t last long enough to fill a bowl. Parts of the site are unlit. There are many workers being housed in the chalets which means vans coming and going regularly. The shower cubicles are very small and many of the showers had terrible water pressure. The shop is lacking and overpriced and the staff seem very unhappy to be there. We had 2 bikes stolen from the local station, these were locked to a bike loop, they cut the cable and took the bikes and the D lock. The police were quite uninterested even though there was cctv over the bikes, the receptionist at the site was also lacking any interest in helping us. There are are large raised manhole covers on many of the pitches including ours. There is a minimum 10 euro spend on card in the shop.

Electric hardstanding and grass motorhome pitch

Liked The site is quite close the the centre of Paris and the public transport is great. The site is ok with amenities at convenient locations.

Disliked The staff aren't very helpful or friendly. We couldn't check-in until 4pm even though it said 3pm on the booking form, which is still late considering you have to leave by 12.The pitches are very small and close together ours was described as tarmac and grass hardstanding it was actually just a gravel pitch and nowhere for a table and chairs if you did want to sit out. We paid 210 euros for 3 nights which for the size of the pitch and general amenities we thought was expensive the only plus was the location.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Good links into Paris - Eifel Tower will take around 55 minutes to get to with one bus ride to the Tube and then two train lines to the Trocadero stop.

Bar and shop area was well stocked.

Disliked No water connection at pitch.
No swimming pool for one of the only campsites close to Paris.
Pitches not well maintained.

Electric grass pitch

Liked The location is spot on....bus comes every 15 mins in high season direct to the train station, and cost just £2 for the bus, and £2.50 for the train in to Paris.

Supermarkets are within 5 mins of the campsite.

Security is good with gate codes for the entrance and the gates to the river.

Toilets clean and plenty of showers and pot washing facilities.

Pitches are of good size too

Overall really good..would highly recommend.

Disliked Nothing much to dislike...would be expensive for a long stay, but for a few nights it's ok

Electric hardstanding and grass motorhome pitch

Local attractions

Paris is a paltry 20 minutes away by public transport (a bus stops right outside the site) and is crammed with world-famed sights and attractions that'll likely have you booking to come again before you've even said au revoir. Particularly recommended among the many by the Camping Paris Est team is the Louvre, the gallery housing the mega-famed Mona Lisa among its 35,000 or so objets d'art from prehistoric times to the present day. Lounge around under the Pyramid on the Louvre Palace grass after a long trip around the exhibits and then wander along the museum's Right Bank location for a brasserie bite to eat or a coffee on a tiny terrace before a photographic promenade along the Champs-Élysées… And then there's Île-de-France's other famed location… kids and big kids have Disneyland Paris 40 minutes away, for rides, thrills, Disneyland Village, and the chance to be snapped with the likes of Mickey Mouse and Buzz Lightyear.
