What customers say

Great site, private pitches, friendly staff, clean facilities. Lovely woodland, good pools & bakery. Generally quiet, though some noise. Ideal for stopovers & families, near a village.

2 bedroom lodge (four person)

Liked A great site. We spent 2 nights in a cabin. Staff were great and cabin was clean and well presented. This was great value. This was at end of season but indoor pool was open and welcome. A lovely place.

Disliked Nothing to dislike.

Electric optional grass pitch

Liked Very pleasant site - we stayed just one night on our way back to Calais and would have liked to stay a bit longer. Nice level pitch - facilities very clean. Friendly and helpful staff.
Useful to know that one way in to the area is via ferry - check your sat nav!

Electric optional grass pitch

Liked Lovely helpful people in the office! Village doesn’t have much going on but the people are friendly and kind. Abbey is definitely worth a visit and so too is the La Petite Auberge opposite. Site well laid out with hedges for privacy

Disliked One toilet block needs new lightbulbs and an extra toilet seat. Both blocks need a deep clean!

Fully-serviced grass pitch (comfort)

Liked Stayed in September Quiet site at the side of woods. Toilets/showers were clean and washing up facilities. Had a swimming pool which I used as not many sites keep pools open after August. Pitches were spacious also had a bar which opened for a few hours in the evening. Does have a snack bar but that was closed again in August. Walking distance of a small town with restaurants decent prices. The man who cut the grass was lovely. He locked my partner in the toilets when there was a power cut They had a good laugh about it and they bought my partner a drink

Disliked The pitch that we had was at the end in a corner so got no sun. We could have changed but we’re only there for 2 nights. The best pitches are down the middle
Fully serviced pitches are not like the ones in UK for attaching pipes for water

Local attractions

Local town Jumièges is most famed for its abbey, hailed by Mr Victor Hugo as 'the most beautiful ruins in France' (nothing miserable about his trip there, then). An abbey of some sort has stood here since the seventh century, in a pretty parkland setting above the Seine; in a later incarnation, the abbey was consecrated in the presence of William the Conqueror. Heading towards the Normandy coast (you really should), about an hour and a half will take you to Cabourg, on the Côte Fleurie and the coast of the English Channel. This swish town has been a popular Normandy seaside resort since the middle of the 19th century (and also has a writerly connection, as the oft-incomprehensible Marcel Proust was a fan of the sands here). Cabourg is famed these days for its art galleries and racecourse, casino and annual Romantic Film Festival: do go see. The handsome harbour town of Honfleur, with port painted by Monet, Courbet and others, is just over an hour away: do go see that aussi.
