Camping et Gites des Bains

Camping et Gites des Bains is among the mammoth woods, lakes, farmland, outdoor pursuits and six (six!) natural history museums of Morvan Regional Natural Park: you'll want to spend at least a few days. Six reservoirs are in the park too, including Lac des Settons, filled with fish like pike, trout and carp, and with a marina, sailing school and boat, surfboard, kayak and paddleboat hire. Hiking, mountain biking and horse riding are available around the lake's shores. If you'd rather wildlife watch (six natural history museums!), get eagle-eyed trying to spy the likes of owls, hawks and falcons up high, or polecats, martens, hares, squirrels, deer, foxes and boars down low. Watersports galore are available within an hour's drive of the site, or you could stay on land and have a bike ride along the Canal du Nivernais. The nearest fishing spot is half a kilometre away.
