Liked: Arrived to a friendly welcome with a bread and pastry order taken for breakfast and a choice of pitch. Incredibly peaceful amongst trees and surrounded by vineyards. Pool looked lovely but was a bit cold for us to go in. Facilities were clean and spacious- unisex doesn’t bother us at all. Had dinner in the restaurant on the second evening which was great value and very good. Would love to return in warmer weather.

Liked: Everything! Beautiful peaceful location, clean facilities, so much for children - animals, playground, pool, games area - great food and staff. It was a spontaneous stop over but we hope to return.

Liked: Nos gustaron muchas cosas: la parcela era grande; tiene muchas alternativas de ocio muy buenas: billar, ping pong, lectura, piscina, etc. Los baños y duchas están limpios. Hay servicio de panadería. Es un camping ecológico y fomentan el reciclaje. Phillip y Bene han sido muy amables y nos ayudaron en todo momento.

Liked: Absolutely everything. Very good site with extremely friendly staff and clean facilities and swimming pool. Good family atmosphere and VERY GOOD food at night. Brilliant evening entertainment also. The best wifi we have had also!!

Disliked: Chemical toilet in a hut so smells really strong!

Liked: Wonderful place, staff super friendly and helpful. Pitches fantastic, most of them shady all day. Family orientated 100%. The surroundings are beautiful. A place to return!

Liked: All the staff are very friendly and explained the site very well to us. There are plenty of activities for children including pool, table football, table tennis, painting, football and some others. There is a swimming pool which our son loved. The pitches are large and well shaded by the trees. Drinking water is dotted around the site to refill your bottles. We loved the eco friendly additions. There is a restaurant on site also (closed on Tuesdays)

Liked: What a lovely campsite! Just what we needed after a long drive. Warm welcome and easy booking in. Great pitches, well shaded and plenty of privacy. So much to do for the kids, pool is great, trampoline, games room etc. Live band was a great touch. Only stayed one night but definitely need to come back!

Local attractions

The nearby Gironde estuary is a haven for wildlife, and there are a few lovely ways to see some of it – perhaps taking your binoculars to to Terres d’Oiseaux nature reserve (10 minutes’ drive) to see what birds you can spot as you follow the nature trails, or joining a boat trip from Vitrezay (10 minutes). Elsewhere along the estuary you can visit the UNESCO-listed citadel in Blaye (20 minutes), before boarding a boat to cross the river to the Médoc Regional Natural Park. Over there, there are lots of wineries to drop in to as you make your way to Lac d’Hourtin or the beach at Carcans. Back on the site’s side of the estuary, head north for a trip to Planet Exotica theme park or a beach day in Royan (an hour), or turn south to Bordeaux (55 minutes) to see the cathedral, Place de la Bourse and Grosse Cloche and visit La Cité du Vin to learn all about the area's most famed product.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 30 day(s) of arrival.

General

Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.

Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.

General

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

The bar is open between 26/04 and 28/09.
The games room is open between 01/05 and 25/09.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

The outdoor swimming pool is open between 25/05 and 20/09 (subject to weather conditions).

General

The restaurant is open between 03/05 and 22/09.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.
