Liked: Great location, lovely safe shallow beach. Staff really friendly and helpful. Clean sanitary facilities, most of the pitches have tree for hammock and washing. Lovely campsite for rather younger families and people who like big resort feel stays

Disliked: Restaurant was only serving pizza and it was overpriced . Family next to us took some of our space ( inc hammock trees ) which we were very looking forward to. Not campsite fault and maybe we should say something , but we didn’t want to cause the issues .

Liked: Freundliches Personal, das immer gut erreichbar ist. Kinderanimation ist ok. Unsere Tochter ist sieben. Vor allem im hinteren Teil schön bewaldeter Platz mit saniertem Waschhaus.

Disliked: Unser Platz lag in zweiter Reihe nah am Restaurant. Wer Ruhe sucht, findet sie an diesem Platz nicht. Oftmals sehr laut bis in die Nacht. Unser nächstgelegenes Waschhaus ist in die Jahre gekommen und könnte sauberer sein. Auch sonst könnte der Platz gepflegter sein. Sehr groß uns touristisch.

Local attractions

Stretching along the course of the Krka and Čikola rivers, Krka National Park (35 minutes’ drive) is known for its spectacular waterfalls and forested surrounds, which you can explore by bike or on foot, keeping an eye out for otters and deer. The park’s caves also house one of Europe’s largest colonies of bats. Lined with thick patches of reeds, the brackish waters of Vrana Lake (40 minutes) are home to many bird species, including cormorants, herons and egrets. You can explore the lake on a kayak, or hike up the hills to viewpoints looking all the way down to the coast. The historic city of Zadar (one hour) has Roman ruins, medieval churches and defensive walls dating back to its time as a province of the Venetian Republic. Check out the Museum of Ancient Glass before heading to the Sea Organ (an instrument played by the waves) to admire the sunset over the sea.

A cable measuring at least 10 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
