What customers say
Private pitches in peaceful woods, much loved for seclusion & size. Rustic, clean loos & showers (some miss privacy). Handy covered picnic tables & fire pits with wood. Great value, beautiful spot, very peaceful. Mostly great, but a few hot water hiccups. Most want to come back!

Liked This was my 3rd stay on this lovely small site .
The pitches are very private which I love and a fire pit and covered bench are included.
This is the prefect site for a quiet low key and peaceful time . A stones throw from Cresswell quay and a 5 minute drive from Carew castle

Non-electric grass and earth campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch (large)
Liked Lovely quiet location spacious and private pitch clean facilities having your own shelter and picnic table means less stuff to cart along in the car ! Well located for all local attractions and beaches. No electric no problem as we are equipped to be off grid but …..
Disliked I had no phone signal and with no WiFi either that was a bit too disconnected for me ! Unable to research where to go or contact family back home …

Loved having a secluded pitch with private covered kitchen area
Non-electric grass and earth tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch (small)
Liked Covered picnic table- made the periodically wet stay very happy!
Very secluded pitches.
Fantastic workmanship with in-house made shower block (lots of hot water) and vvwry adequate communal area for washing up and phone charging. Very unique well kitted out campsite with lovely neighbours- great minds think alike!
Disliked Hot water was very noisy to run so felt guilty having late night showers. Pitched are 9 years old so the bark around/ under the picnic table area isn’t fresh, still completely serviceable!

Quiet off-grid peace
Non-electric grass and earth tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch (small)
Liked Totally quiet (except for some primal drumming experience off-site). I loved that each pitch is private. The showers were amazing given that it was off-grid. Will definitely return

Beautiful spacious well thought out pitches for campers or tents
Non-electric grass and earth tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch (XXL)
Liked Amazing space we had .. private ..well thought out -and such cheap prices too - where we stayed was amazing - a great private space in woodland - we had the dormouse area .. with a private fire pit- bundle of wood provided ..picnic table area under cover .. toilets/showers nearby and all for £20 .. amazing !!! it’s opened my eyes up to many new adventures - as a city girl used to hotels .. this trip we took and where we picked to stay impressed me so much .. I will most definetly be using this site again .. so much beauty - countryside -woodland etc Iv been missing out on !! A very happy guest .. 😊
Disliked Nothing .. it was a last minute on the day decision to find somewhere whilst we were in wales to stay and it was so easy to book - even for that same night .. which Is what we needed .. a lot of places wanted me to have booked the day before .but when it’s a last minute decision .. this made it so easy - booked and was in the fab woodland space we’d booked within the hour ..
