Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked: The site is absolutely fantastic, and the facilities are exceptional (Showers, Dishwash/cleaning facilities, Toilets—all immaculately clean). You can see the owners take a lot of pride in the site—everything is perfect, from the pitches to the roads, paths, etc. There are also recycling facilities. It's easy to get to and not far from Broadhaven (you'd probably have to drive, especially with kids). The site also has WiFi if you need to connect up any devices - it is rural so it's not going to be ultra fast but we never had any issues. We loved it, and we'd come back again 100%.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked: Great campsite. Owen and hus mam were lovely. Very clean and great location. I couldn't recommend this enough. We will be back

Disliked: Only negative point is no fire pits but I completely understand why. BBQs are accepted though.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked: What a lovely and peaceful campsite. We were greeted on arrival by the owner who showed us around. We have two young children but we like a quiet and calm campsite and this was definitely what we were looking for. The campsite was very flat so great for sleeping. The toilet and shower facilities were always kept clean. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Disliked: Shower was a little weak and not the warmest but it did the job!

Liked: Fabulous stay again, this being our 3rd visit. Owen and his family so welcoming, even reverses my tourer into position. Lovely run site above Broad Haven. Just wish the weather was better!

Disliked: The weather!

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked: Beautiful well maintained pitches and easily accessible to local beaches.

Disliked: Being denied access to the disabled toilet facilities. The main reason I booked this site was because I thought it would meet the needs of my disability. It didn’t!

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked: Nice friendly welcome from Owen. Good pitches and excellent facilities. Well located for Broad Haven and as a base for exploring the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast and countryside. Good hot water in the wash up and wash basins. Overall a great place to stay.

Disliked: Showers could be hotter and with a shower curtain to protect the changing area in the cubicle.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked: Nice clean site, about a 15 minutes cycle to beach down some quite sterp hills. Free WiFi. Showers and cleaning facilities all of good standard and kept clean.

Disliked: Not much around. Trip was let down by incredible poor communications. A hour and a half before check out time we were given 10 minutes to pack up and leave or we were told we would be stuck in the site for up to 8 hours, as they were moving static vans around. When we tried to speak to the company moving the vans they were aggressive. The manager/owner of site didn't seem to care.

Local attractions

The spectacular beaches may be one of the big draws of the Pembrokeshire coastline, but there’s much more to do by the sea than sunbathing and sandcastle building: take to the waters off Broad Haven for windsurfing and kayaking or, if you’re feeling less active, head 20 minutes south-west to Skomer Island, where you can spy seals and puffins and see the wildflowers bloom. There are plenty of historic sites nearby that should help you find your footing in the past. Start with a trip to the stunning 6th-century St Davids Cathedral, a 35-minute drive from the site, then learn about trade in the early 16th-century at the Tudor Merchant’s House in Tenby and wander the remains of the 13th-century Cilgerran Castle, both within an hour of Creampots. If the kids are tiring of beachside living or historic buildings, there’s loads within easy reach to keep them entertained – visit the local and exotic animals at Manor Wildlife Park, explore the zoo and fairground at Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, then get the adrenaline pumping on the rollercoasters at Oakwood Theme Park, all within half an hour of the site.
