Liked: Absolutely beautiful location. Loads of space. River access. Good walking area. Toilets good.

Disliked: No shower and you need to take own drinking water - we knew this beforehand so no problem.

Liked: Lovely field,all flat,lively trees for shelter,and a gorgeous river for the dog too enjoy in,nuce clean toilets,and the owner,Delyth came too meet us,and check that we were settled in and happy,we will be returning soon,and do a longer stay for sure.

Liked: Quiet relaxed site. Spacious site, with plenty of pitches, in both sunny and shaded spots. Friendly owners are very helpful. Campfires allowed with plenty of wood to collect around site. Can’t wait to visit again.

Liked: Peaceful pitch with no phone signal where we could just be with friends and enjoy good company. Close to Twm Sion Cati Caves and Llynbrianne Dam. Good days out in Nice weather.

Disliked: No showers and no drinking water

Liked: Lovely peaceful site on the edge of a river. Lots of walking routes and 15 minutes walk to a lovely pub serving food and drinks. No nearby shops but not a problem as we came well stocked. Toilets clean and maintained. Would most certainly return.

Disliked: Nothing.

Local attractions

If you feel like a warm swim, there’s a leisure centre in Llandovery (20 minutes’ drive). But for a quick stroll, some birdwatching and cave exploring, Ogof Twm Sion Cati is just 20 minutes’ walk away (or an even shorter drive). The cave is rumoured to have been a hiding place for the ‘Welsh Robin Hood’. As for the sublime scenery in the Twy Valley, the hikes at Llyn Brianne Dam & Reservoir (45 minutes’ walk) have some excellent viewpoints (as well as old mining apparatus and quarries scattered around). As for something a little different, perhaps a trip to the Welsh National Opera and the National Museum Cardiff, both in Cardiff (an hour and 45 minutes), or the Roman gold mine, Dolaucothi Gold Mines (25 minutes)?

Admission

At least one of the party members must be aged 21 or over.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 7 day(s) of arrival.

Bookings must not be for more than 28 consecutive nights.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Firearms are not permitted.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.

The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

Units should not be left unoccupied unless previously agreed with the management. Please speak to reception when the need arises, a fee may be charged for unsupervised units.

You'll need an Environment Agency rod licence (you'll need to apply for this beforehand).
