Electric grass pitch (adults only)
Liked: Lovely quiet location just up the road from Llansteffan. Our first time using pitchup and the first time using our tentbox which got a lot of attention on the site. Booking and check in was very easy and Sian the owner was very helpful and text shortly after booking to let us know where we could pitch. Very clean site, with wonderful views. Toilet block is minimal and has everything you need - we didn’t use the shower but the block was maintained to the highest standard and very clean. The shack with kettle/microwave/sink facilities looked great but we didn’t need to use it. Didn’t use WiFi as we had good 4g signal. Great price and would definitely book again as a couple. Kids didn’t come with us this time and as the site was quite quiet (apart from the distant moo-ing of cows) we would probably use this site without kids for that reason. Our dog Perrie loved the trip too, she is blind but loved exploring around our pitch. There were other dogs there too and all so well behaved. Thank you for having us for our short, one night stay!

Liked: Stunning views to wake up to and watch the sunset. Peaceful small campsite. Gravel pitches were well laid out and maintained with plenty of space. For such a small site everything had been thought of from the clean toilets with toiletries, to the dish wash area with microwave. The bar area was a nice little extra. And the owners are helpful and very friendly. Loved our visit to Llansteffan and Laugharne near by. Note, the site is recycling waste only, no general waste which wasn't a problem. And make sure you approach the site via Llansteffan to avoid narrow lanes.
Disliked: None, we will definitely be back. Only thing I can think of is a sign as you pull in 'new guest sign in this way' but the bar was easy enough to find.

Liked: Everything… the views, the location, the facilities, reasonably priced bar and great hosts! Made to feel very very welcome! Added bonus of jump leads to help with a flat battery! After a days fishing there’s no better place to come back to and enjoy a cold beer on draft with a chilled vibe and fantastic views! Thanks guys for the welcome and stay and the jump leads of course!
